Its just a fact that the most famous 'zouk' artists are Cape Verdeans raised in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

And some Angolan and Cariben artist also sing in our language, because we just the biggest fans of zouk/kisomba however u wanna call it.

CAbo Zouk comes is derived from Zouk...CVs were singing and producing zouk since the eighties in france because of the west indies influence. Angolans also copy zouk and call it Kizomba...so don't try to act like we havent been doing zouk way before the Angolans....passada is an Angolan style of dance that is danced throughout luso Africa.. That's why every other zouk song is sung in creolo.

But the Zou music is from Haiti .I want to know what means the word Zouk in Creole of Sotavento or Barlavento .And in which the island was invented .We should not steal other things and say that it is our .The Cape Verdean has their music .
