  • This reminds me when Norm Abram used a planer head on his Radial arm saw

  • there are 18 tables in total that we have done/doing. The tables should last for another 10 plus years in the same environment.

Yes we could use this machine for many other jobs, but sadly when it is all done and dusted, it will go back to the stock pile of bits and pieces in dads shed.

  • How many tables did you have to flatten to make building that machine worthwhile? It would be very handy for flattening large timbers or boards for other uses as well. Very inventive.

  • The new and improved version of the planer is working now! It gives full adjust of blade cutting angle, cutting depth adjuster has been improved (to the original way we were going to do it)

And dust extractor is now has a blower/vac core and sits on the head and moves with the rig.

We have also added an electrical distrbution system to allow us to activate each part of the machine inderpendently! (a power board - it has a circuit breaker!)

    pictures and new movie soon!

  • Awesome guys, so proud to have sat and enjoyed a beautiful lunch in Serrano's on that actual table! Cheers to all :)

  • That's is a fairly ingenious device you have built there. I'm impressed by you enginuity. I'll enjoy you restaurant that much more next time I eat there.
