  • Agreed, that's a "bug on the windsheild" ;)

To do a fly on the wall you need to dive the hell out of the glider at the hill first. Then treat the ground like it's flat ground and round out and flare. The cadence will be faster, because gravity will cancel most of you ground effect time.

Fly on the wall landings are not hard, just intimidating. They're also easier on intermediate gliders than single surface because of pitch pressure and energy retention.

    have fun,

  • gp100ab...no I was real lucky that my face didn't conect with that rock other wise I don't think I would have been walking away from this

  • did you hit the rock?

  • thanks guys for the advice hopefully it won't happen again..and yes a full face helmet is on the list...lol

  • Ouch Merv! Face plant!

If you ever have to land up a steep hill again, just flare the f*ck out of it..... you'll almost always get away with it.

Oh yeah, and maybe a full face helmet? :-)

  • Wow, that looked more painful than you described Merv. How about a slow motion version? ;)

  • Ouch. Fly on the wall????Bug on the windsheild...LOL
