If you use Koji's fingering, that underlying pattern you're sensing clicks. Your fingering is a little abstract and wandering, so like you said - it's mostly about memorization.
I'm very used to the right hand string from Hyrule Castle/Farewell Hyrule King. So hopefully this won't be 'too' difficult. Though thank you very much for the upload, I look forward to practising this!
You made it very easy to understand the right hand by doing sections, but when you got to the left hand you did it all together without pausing so it made it a little more complicated to learn it in short increments. All in all though a very good tutorial! Good job! Can't wait to play this at cons and people to request it.
The sheet music I have has you playing the left hand with another of the same note an octave apart. It kind of sounds more dramatic that way. Good video though!
