He was an amish horse. He's really calm; he was probably too lazy or something for them. Amish put young horses up for slaughter all the time... who knows why. No, he is very rideable. His rescue video was of him being ridden bareback in a simple snaffle bridle. He was trotting level, very responsive to aids, etc. He was an angel.

He is four years old, but no we do not have papers. He is a fantastic boy. He has some nice trot to him too; level without shoes and he's got some oomph!
