Me and my brother were on a holiday in the UK and we were heading for a party as 5 chavs came up from an alley and tried to mug us. We were wearing womens clothes so they probably thought we were faggots.

I have a theory about where the word chav comes from.Years ago I read a book about Romany Gypsies and they used the word chav when talking about there children.Some people use the word gypsie as a derogative term ie your a f&%kin gypo.So its not hard to imagine people started using the word chav to describe someone as being a gypo kid.Ive never come across this theory before but it makes sense to me.I have nothing against gypsies at all but many people do.
