  • check out my mini cooper!!!! review!!!

  • That's crazy....

electronics in vehicles are getting so good that automatics are actually getting quicker then manuals?!

no complaints here, I've tried steptronic......it's pretty damn fun

  • What's with the record scratching during the vid?

  • I love how all 4 wheels are at the corners. that is another reason it handles so well. damn, i love this car. i'd rather have this car than an a4 or is.

  • @Mockingbird5150 thats why its nicknamed the bulldog :D

  • BMW should just leave the Mini philosophy alone, and not "BMW it". Or they will make it overly complicated and expensive to maintain.

  • i·con·o·clast- 1. a person who attacks cherished beliefs, traditional institutions, etc., as being based on error or superstition. 2. a breaker or destroyer of images, especially those set up for religious veneration.

  • Type R is faster.

  • @999pooley type r is just another honda.. lol honda will never be a Mini and timeless

  • @Chingonshushu Honda don't want to be a mini!!! Go bk to driving your Micra and dreaming of owning a shitty mini. You obviously have not drove many nice cars!!

  • @999pooley 1. talk proper english 2. dont asume what ppl have and dont have (like a 10yr old) 3. I have a Mini JCW GP 4. you have your taste I have mine, you like black I like white you cant argue taste and colours 5. I've probaly drove more cars than the hair you have on your head, been a amature racing driver!

(now who looks like an typical youtube idoit)

  • @Chingonshushu loooool!!! Learn how to spell idiot, before saying talk proper english!!!!

  • @999pooley WOW *idiot

  • whats the difference between the s and the original

  • @FableAlbion

S stands for "SuperCharged" (although this one is actually TurboCharged)

  • are these girly cars?

  • @KaotickAnimalz er sorta... there slow when u have 4 people and they all weigh 175+ LB and the speed limit is 40 MPH. i prefer my old volvo from 90 something because it like the same thing but it was like a tank and you can probably run over a truck... though i prefer my american strong arm cars ford(escort), chevy(impala? or malibu... cant remember), and GMC (never owned 1 but in high school quite a few owned a GMC jimmy)

  • @KaotickAnimalz If you like it, don't worry about if it's a girly car or not. It's plenty fast for everyday driving if you pick up the S version.

  • nice looking car...but so many people are driving it that it's so overrated. This is a car u wanna keep for 3-4 years and not a car u want to buy to own because u'll pay an arm and a leg without the warranty.

  • @DJTEVAdotCOM to bad they last forever dumbass

  • why would they use such an ugly color!

  • 'if it aint broke don't fix it' I wish chrysler would've thought of that before they fucked with the 300C.

  • if it isnt broken... wtf is if it aint broke...americans raping the english language as usual

  • @lerlo the language is always changing and there are always going to be certain dialects and idioms in each culture..english was never really english in the first place so why does it matter?

  • @Intergalactiic "If it aint broke" is grammatically wrong

  • what are they like for long distance driving, are they quiet on the road?

  • please test drive the 2011 Cooper S!!!!!!

  • how much are these cars? thx

  • @Kurzland in the u.s. they are about $25,000 for the Cooper S, but prices will vary if you build your own, but standard price is 25k. If you want something more sporty than the Cooper S check out the John Works Cooper, that one is roughly priced at 32k

  • Does the mini S turbo use more gas than the non turbo?

  • UH I WANT WON SO BAD

  • Is this car reliable? looking into buying one

  • @idiotsawvfr5 yes!!! my step dad has the S version and it is amazing!!!!

  • @cullenrocks92 alright haha, seems like a really fun car to drive, and is still fast and gets good mileage, win win situation!

  • @idiotsawvfr5 yes!! fast, affordable, and just plain fun to take to work or out for a drive!

  • Give me 2

  • I've just got my hand on a second hand '07 cooper S on laser blue w 44k miles in it. I love it in every single way :) and if you're looking for one of these, get one with 6 speed manual ! the pedal positioning is 100% perfect. Im joyous :)

  • i wish they were a little cheaper :(

  • ive seen lambo. not my taste.

    ive seen elise. too loud.

ive seen R8. its ridiculously priced.

ive driven mini. YOU GET TO PARK YOUR CAR SWIFTLY THROUGH AT TIGHT SPACES, A CHICK TAKING A PICTURE OF YOUR CAR, AWESOME INTERIOR, FASTER THAN A GOLF OR ANY NON SPORTS CAR.

Its a bit tight back seat, but who needs passengers to drive eh?

  • 28 people hate the movie "the italian job"

  • @hendrixforever92 That was a good movie .

  • definitely the chick magnet ;)

  • @Benzimishtu right....

  • its still a mini cooper

  • how do one of these stack up against a Mk3 Golf GTI VR6?

  • @chewser117 Stock - Mini might take it - tough to say. I had a '96 VR6 for a while, never raced a mini, but I've had the chance to drive a few. They're quick cars. Around the bends, the mini would take it 10 for 10. Maintenance wise, they are about the same to operate.

  • "PoooGot" lol

  • 14.77 1/4 mile WTF! Thats more than a full second faster than than the other S models ive seen...

  • thats my dream car xxxxxxx

  • I <3 my MCS R56!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    -G.B.

  • 172 hp not 175

  • Plogics 88, I'm 6'3" and can drive with my Panama hat on.

  • great car with class, fast acceleration and it doesnt drink much petrol at all 0 to 100 km/h in 7.0 sec is fast for a normal car ;)

  • How's the gas on the stock MINI?

  • that car is good

  • i like that car

  • Okay I have a question im 6'2 and I fit comfortably in a civic hatchback 93"eg rear seats im just wondering if the mini is equal in size or smaller? because I love the mini so much but worried it is small area rear seats for friends when I go on long trips. I love civic eg but it always gets stolen lol in my neighborhood. please reply thank you very much....

  • @Plogics88 this is not a car that you want to put anyone whos over 5'8" and even then if anyone around 5'-8" does sit in the back seat,,, it would only be for a short drive. this is speaking from someone who ownes a mini. stick with the civic.

  • @08Miniman Thank you very much for your reply it helps alot to be honest I love hatchbacks so much I guess my other choice would be VW R32/GTI :)

    Thanks again....

  • @Plogics88 one of my co workers just picked up a 2010 GTI, and he loves it. i took it out for a few spins and its very very quick, quicker than the mini S that i have, but it is also more refined, it goes over bumps better and smother. where as the mini is very rough and harsh, but i do have 18"rims and low profile tires... his gti is a 4 door and VERY roomy in the back 4 guys can easily get in this car and take a 500km road trip

  • @08Miniman

the mini does 139 top speed . the 2010 gti does 130 mph top speed.

    so mini runs more

  • @VanGalo90 if you want to look at the specs ya for sure the mini will do 139mph, but,

1, where are you going 139mph, and

2, by the time the mini hits 139mph the gti would be loooooooooong gone, trust me i know these things.

  • Look at that S car go.

  • Comfortable, Classy, Superb Turbo Engine, Nice Manual Gearbox, Luxury, Excellent Handlig, Fuel Economy, Great In Traffic, Great When Parking, Enough Said ;)

  • este e o carro que sempre sonhei.

e agora tenho um Graças A Deus.

  • "One executive goof-up away from losing everything that makes them special" loosely translated means "Too bad, what happened to Saab."

  • my sister has this one and so far this is the absolute best front-wheel-drive car i've ever driven, the steering is very direct and precise... test drive it people you'll love it ! be sure to drive one with a six speed manual !

  • I know a couple people with these, nothing gone wrong yet and TONS of fun! Don't let a horror story scare you- there are horror stories to every car.

  • this guy is boring

  • i can agree, i have an 08, poor fuel economy, and it only takes premium, also this car is quick, but if you want to drive it and have fun, be ready for many trips to the dealer for repairs, ive had mine 7 months and ive already made 6 trips, rear bushings, front hub, throtle sensor, flywheel bearings, clutch vacum pump, engine tick, you name it its broken, car only has 20k on it. its fun to drive, but hard on the wallet. its under warranty but the time to go to the dealer and all that stuff.

  • @08Miniman man i have no problems with mine....you must have got a bad one...i thought they were revered for their low maintenance costs...

  • I own one of these, an '07 model with turbo like this one. It's amazing to drive, looks the business and very little goes wrong with it. the only downsides are the high price, poor fuel economy and the stiff ride that comes with having 17'' alloys and run flat tyres

  • how is the performance?

  • I want one

  • i will buy it now

  • okay my parents are willing to buy a cooper S for my 16 b day (in 3 years lol) because they love mini. Is it fun? is it comfortable? tell me everything I need to know

  • You must be a ricer. The true car enthusiast doesn't judge a car by only its looks but by its classiness, its performance, and its quality. Mini meets and exceeds all of the above in my eyes.

  • can golf clubs fit??????????????????

  • its peugeot not pewjo

  • I have a 2009 pepper white john cooper works mini and it has the cold weather and premium packages and it was $30,000

  • This is a very comfortable car, very fast , small and good in traffic. It is very beautiful too.

  • @ARDIMAN19 is it comfortable?? i really dont know for tall people im 6.3!! is it okay?

  • @paraskevas15 my dad is 6'5" and he said its one of the most comfortable cars he has ever been in you can put the seat all the way back which gives you plenty of leg room

  • @ARDIMAN19 Very uncomfortable for the passenger. Every bump in the road is felt.

  • all in all is the min a fun car to drive? im thinkin of gettin a scion xb or a mini

  • Mini has better gas mileage, better handling.

  • yes the minis are very fun to drive, especially on curvy roads!

  • get the mini

  • yes it is very fun! but i would recommend the S-type or the john cooper works series if you want have more "fun"[speed]

  • oh hell yeah they're fun. I just bought my first one yesterday. It's on 02 cooper but I absolutely love it. never felt this way about a car before and I was driving a porsche 944. I prefer the mini :)

  • Just to let you know these cars are £8,500- £9,500.

  • Nothing beats a V8 M3. NOTHING.

  • only a 135i or maybe da opel vectra 2.8 turbo, in tip speed vetra = 265kph and M3 has 250 but gov...

  • only the nissan GTR :). and it has a v6... V6

  • Twin turpo v6...V6 TT

  • Can't drive the M3 on the sidewalk!

  • Comment removed

  • What, for £16K new? Last I checked, Porsche didn't do anything for that price - and nor were they winning Car of the Year.

I rate these, having just picked up one as second car. The 1.6 Turbo works better than the old Supercharged model - saving you on tax and petrol, yet not losing any appreciable performance.

Power is instant and smooth, with no turbo lag. Torque sheer is minimal and Sport mode makes the whole thing stiffer than a young Ron Jeremy. Awesome on a curve.

  • to bad the gt-r beats the m3 in just about every aspect of being a real sportscar and not a businessmans car lol what a dumb comment

  • my parents might buy me this car when i'm 16 :-)! but i wanna buy a big car with my own money! = ]

  • Haha take the Mini and I'll trade you.

  • I got one since 2 months in this color Yellow mellow, its a great car ¡¡¡

  • can it beat a v8 bmw m3?

  • Price-wise ;)

  • no, but it can beat an enzo... lol

  • can a bmw m3 beat my f-22 raptor:P:P....got it parked on my house:D

  • mini coopers are slow, they're very good around corners but no match to any other cars in a straight line

  • Theyre faster than suvs and 6 cylinder mustangs...at least the s's r

  • i agree, but if you're looking for speed, i would'nt go for a cooper S or no S...I just think they're over priced

  • im 15 too!

i really2 wanted this car damn much!

i was like melting when i first saw this car..!

  • I am 15 but I really want a Mini Cooper S as my first car. Looks great and like other people said, it's fuel efficient and it's like driving a go kart thanks to it's since and power. I don't really care about a few kids saying it's a gay car. I rather be gay in a few eyes of youtube kids and have a Mini then be "cool" in their eyes with a lame as oversized ford truck. (Which is slow as f*ck)

  • then u must be one rich bastard :O

  • Hehe, nah, second hand won't be all that bad, but I first want a bike, and after that a car, so it's not that I will have it right away when I am 18 :P Will take me some years :P (Don't want a useless piece of crap as my first car :P, rather wait some years then spend those years paying for a crap car)

  • we've had ours (Mini Cooper S R53) for 7 years and 97 000 miles. No problems with him (yep, he is a he). Only scheduled services. Amazing car and a true faimly member.

  • can i ask wat is the lifespan for this car? like at which milages there will be problems with it?

  • very very very beautiful !!! *-*

  • merci mini coper 6chevee

  • I love the MINI Cooper.

  • Damn, i've wanteda mini since they announced that they were remaking them years ago. Now, i'm looking into new cars and setting a time of early next year for one. But, now I can't decide between this, one of my dream cars that I can actualyl afford, or a Volve C30 which to me, is unexpected and stunning, mostly since I was never a Volvo fan! Well, guess I got more research to do.

  • If you get a C30 over a cooper s everyone will hate you and you will be cast from society

  • I took my 2004 Mini in for service (all that it has ever needed) and was given one of these as a loaner. It felt "cheesey". Lots of rattles and when you closed the door it felt like it was made of tin. One of the things I love about my Mini is how tight it feels. You just know its made well. This felt like a cheap knock off.

  • My Car !! *.* !!!

  • To those who commented that the cars in colors with the white top look dumb; you need to know that is a nod to the car's racing past. The early '60's racing teams used white and checked or flagged tops to tell their cars from the others in the pack on the track and from a distance in rallys. Racing heritage rules!

  • because it IS BMW Mini Copper; designed, projected and constructed by BMW.. Even the dealership is under BMW's umbrella. Get it?

  • its speed and handling cant be compares to japanese.. mini > japan > world

  • HA I have an auto transmission. And all of my friends got after me saying an auto is slower. Granted it isn't faster by much but its still faster in the end.

  • It's a unique speedotmeter. Keeps things interesting.

  • it sounds SICK!!

  • what does the sport button do? increase shift rate, increase boost??

  • Io amo la mini **

  • not a bad engine

  • Isn't there alot of the old feeling which the old mini coopers had been lost?

  • ................xD

  • Far out, my dream car Mini Cooper

  • actually the mini cooper s gets the same exact mileage as a toyota corolla does, and the stock mini cooper gets even more. i can agree that you save 4,000 dollars on a japanese car, but on the other hand they have shabby crash test ratings and they just dont have the BMW quality of a mini cooper.

  • Civic & corolla (exclude Si) is for practical family transportation, while Mini-cooper is a true driving & motoring machine. Let's motor :).

  • I was looking into a toyota (my dad is japanese so he is of course for japanese motors) but the mini gets the same mpg as corolla and starts at 16-17k. My mom who grew up in the 60's want me to get the mini...

  • You're NEVER driven a MINI if you think this.

  • Is the copper s a 6 spd??

How much do i have to spend to get a 6 spd??

    in CDN dollar. Plz.

  • would you recomend this car as a frist car im 14 and soon to get my permit and i have started saving for one would you recommend it i want to get a 2003-2005 S

  • Your first car, it really depends to me how you drive... but I honestly think kids should all start out with an older car so they understand how cars really drive compared to all of these cars with electronic safety and whatnot. i.e 80s or early 90s cars. ABS, TCS, etc. A beginner (in my point of view) should learn how to drive without those things to understand how they work and help you. But I think that way because I like to push my car to the limit a lot. I don't like the electronics.

  • dman I wish you were my parent I got a 2003 saab 93 aero, NO ITS NOT A BAD CAR!!!!! but the abs keps it from being a fun ar that and its a fwd =/

  • I agree that a kids first car should be an older car but only because chances are that they are going to destroy it!!! I know my friends and I destroyed my first car!!! 1981 Olds Cutlass!!

  • Odiggler - you're obviously american (I'm sorry,it's not your fault). Did you not realise that the size of car a male chooses is inversely proportional to the size of his manhood? Of course not, you're american.

once again, I'm sorry. Get in your truck.

  • that's ridiculous I'm average and I want a mini

  • That is about the stupidest most ignorant comment I've ever heard!!

Since when being an American became a "fault"

I too like foreign things but the mini happens not be one of them.

Its overpriced, front wheel drive, less MPG than a compact Japanese that cost half.

In my opinion this car is for over-consumerized buyers.

  • I could only recomend it if you get the mini with the JCW tune kit. Night and day difference between that and a regular S.

  • can someone help me to decide???

i have a 2004 325i bmw and im thinking to

trade my car for a mini cooper.....

both are bmw but i can't decide

    comment me please!!!

    thanks!!

  • Ride quality is not bad on R56(07+ cooper/cooper s), but make sure you test drive the sport package with 17+" wheel before making your decision, with 17+" ride quality can be an issue in places like NYC.

I have to say my baby perform beyond my high expectation: there is something truly unique about a mini in the driving experience. It can not be described by 0-60mph time or skidpad number, but only can be appreciated through driving it.

  • thats whut i thought when my friend got one, but it actualy sounds pretty good with supercharger and accelerated pretty quick.

  • This is the dumbest, most ignorant comment I have heard.

  • I live in the midwest were it snows a lot in winter. Do you think that mini coppers can make it through snow? They are low to the ground.

  • they are low to the ground...but think about it....they are front weel drive...turbocharged...u will have no problem...mann i love this car..im 18 years old...but ime get one just to have fun with it...imagin...stick shift small car..with handling...you can take anyturn and go into any where u want...lool

  • so basically its not at al a revver.

  • I much prefer the BMW version. They're only huge compared to the original - very small compared to other modern cars. They're far safer than the original, look better and have useable interior space.

  • they are nice cars, im getting one and i learnt one!, brilliant

  • just seeing Italian Job seriously makes me want to buy one for myself when I get older. I hear these things are so responsive and fun to drive

  • NICE!! im thinking about buying myself one

  • The best car in the world

  • if it's gay why are you even watching this?

  • let me guess, youre a faggy bro. and you drive a lifted F150. Have fun with the gas on that mother fucker. I get 32 MPG on my MINI

  • go back to your big 8 miles per gallon ford truck

  • Love the way how the yank says peugeot!

  • And Mitsubishi.

  • lol fair! I've just noticed that

  • i want one so i can tune it up nasty and be smoking them little doubters who say that this car cant do shit...but the only thing i dont like about the mini's is that big speedometer in the middle...too big
