I am a black male pianist writer and poet and I face stereotypes every day. I am muscular so I am seen as violent rapper or a mugger or a shop lifter I am followed by security guards. oh c'mon.... we all deal with stereotypes at some point in our lives regardless of our race, especially when you are minority.. at the end of the day you were defined by your actions, for example people see tiger woods as the greatest golf player in the world, they rarely mentioned he's black b'cos we all can see that.. of course it's difficult when you're starting but if you did break the barrier people will start appreciating you for who you truly are...

It is a sad state of affairs for me to see that the most blunt, direct, and seemingly believed racist slurs/stereotypes come from our black americans. In my life, Racism from Black Americans has been, almost exclusively the only type of bigotry I've had in my life.
To me, Anyone of Any race who makes racist comments is the real reason we still go through this. We know better than to engage in what took so long to overcome.
