Melodies is actually the anime version of the game (visual novel) :3 It just started airing!

What Rena said. Except the visual novel is rated 18+, so unless you're eighteen or older, don't care much for it. You don't have to play the game to fully enjoy watching the Ef anime series.

They're saying it's based off a game which it is. True enough, Melodies is the presequel/sequel to Memories, but both were based off ef - A Fairy Tale of the Two and ef - The Latter Tale.

I finished "Ef-tales of Memories" the 13 episodes and in the visual novles they are Ef: The First Tale, Ef: A Fairy Tale of the Two, and ef - a latter tale, but is "Ef-Tales of memories" just dealing with "Ef- The first tale" and "ef- A fairy tale of the two" excluding Ed-A latter tale? Is Ef-A latter tale going to be part of "Ef-tales of melodies" along with the story of Yuu Himura and Yuko Amamiya with Mizuki Hayama (My favorite chacter) with Shuichi Kuze? on oct6

Go watch the opening of the visual novel (ef - a fairy tale of the two) and see if you can still say that. Don't get me wrong, Euphoric Field was EPIC, but I still think the visual novel's opening was just a little bit better.
