Actually this Street Fighting Man is live in Frankfurt, 1973 Sept. 30, second show. But what a performance! The basis of this version was laid during the American Tour 1972. I've a rather similar version of this song, played in New York, MSG, at the end of the 72 Tour. Also filmed. Nice to compare both incredible versions!
@sazguitar the who were not punk, unfortunely...they invented all that fucking hippie "opera" bullshit with teachno synthetizer SHIT while the velvet underground, the stones, the sooges and mc5 were talking about rape, murder, sexual assault and politics....fuck em, fuck the who...then they did this tommy movie that was barely rock and roll, it was shit...ann margret? hehe, fuck em, not nearly punk people, yeah it was fast and dinamic but in a faggot way, get real
The Yardbirds invented punk in some ways. Not the shitty punk rock music out today and yesterday.
