  • The twisted, unnatural mentality of Hollywood & in fact the whole world that obsesses over Movies is captured in this film. I first thought it was about an innocent, naive girl's fantasy of life in the Movies, but then it turns out it's the sick nightmare of a broken, nasty chick. Clever duality, where the characters are abstract types, not actual specific identities. Like in Soap Operas where a character may be played by different actors. Or a classic role can be done by many different actors.

  • 4:29 damn, you're real hot and all but chill out.

  • @UKNOWIT88 hmmm, yes, she's VERY hot, but not sure why you're saying chill out. she was telling a story about how lynch is

  • I wouldn't call him a genius but he is creepy, whacky, cryptic and brilliant

  • wah wieso so filme nicht ni deutsch!

  • I think that David Lynch is crazy, but just a little bit.

And that is perfect amount. You can still behave and act like you are normal, but actually you are not.Anyways I wanted to say that he is in creative state of mind, and that's positive craziness.

  • Thank you for uploading. I always want

Lmore after I watch this movie.

  • Thanks for the upload, I need this for a presentation I'm doing and a friend has lost my copy of the film!

  • David Lynch is a genius.

  • @RestTonight Totally. That's the first thing I said after watching this movie. Although I also said: "He's totally crazy. I've never watched such a great movie. He's a genius but he's totally crazy. It seems like him alone can understand who we are, and especially how our brains and stuff work."

Gosh the man is crazy (I know, I can't stop repeating it but it's still true). I love it.

  • @RestTonight I agree in so many ways; Mulholland Dr. is not only "my favorite Lynch film, but also one of my favorite films of all time, but Lynch has used that "pilot" excuse with Twin Peaks,.,,, in writing and progressing, he didn't know who Bob was

  • @RestTonight And maybe that is what makes him "your" genius? This movie, like 90% of Lynch's others films do; make you think, watch and watch again. Mulholland Dr. in particular really made me want to watch it until I really understood it(which even now, I don't 100%)

  • i was waiting for this too!

thank you very much for uploading!

  • This is the what I've been waiting for. 5/5

  • Creepy, Wacky, Cryptic and Brilliant! Enough said.

  • @calciumkid85 Very much creepy and ohhh so very cryptic.

  • Gosh, Naomi Watts is so gorgeous. I just had to mention that.

ps: Thanks for uploading this featurette. US DVD has NOTHING!!

  • thank you for posting, The U.S. dvd has no features, just the movie

  • This film is so brilliant....I've watched it several times and each time you get something new out of it.

  • I would have liked to have known what directions Lynch gave to the old couple that accompany Naomi Watts' character in the beginning. Especially the gal has this underlying tone of manic evil that I just love (and find creepy).

  • indeed - that was one of my favourite parts of the film.

  • They are laughting evily because they know it's naomis dream and is going to end.

  • My guess is that it's sort of the life of a character in her own mind. That she imagines them as happy, but even this happiness is sort of forced and off-kilter because she's trying her best to erase what really happened, but that best isn't enough.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS, I have the Italian dvd but A LOT of it was cut off, and it's a shame, it's so interesting and magic
