To prove the point that lobsters die cruelly, they do not heat the water to a rapid boil or put it in headfirst, upside down once the water has reached that boil. Also, there is not enough water in the pot to submerge the animal. They caused this animal to suffer far, far more than it would have in the hands of a professional. Careless idiots.

By the way, the sale of lobster has already gone down significantly as it's 'honeymoon' period is now over. I'm a chef, and I haven't used lobster in years, and I've worked in Michelin starred restaurants. We're not too bothered by it anymore

Yes, I eat meat and fish. Humanely killed? I think this a vision and most of the people (alos like me) does not know much about it. If we would know how other animals are killed, we would eat less meat or fish at all. But in those cases, where it is obvious that animals are tormented, one should not eat them. Lobsters taste pretty good with lots of butter. But, its not realy the best tasting seafood. Personally, I like salmon. The great thing about salmon is that you don't need to imprision them and bind them. You can go fishing and keep them out of water long enough for them to pass away peacefully.

i am a meat eater. i dont hate vegetarians. but the fact is, that you don't kill animals painfully. i'm a muslim, so i only eat "helal meat". muslims cut the thraot of the animal (sheep, cow, or whatever). it sounds cruel, but while slicing the throat you slice the carotid artery. this is the method with LESS pain for the animal.

@xxxcagriersozxxx No, it WAS. The reason for doing this is the heart helps pumping all the blood out of the animal, and it will stay fresh longer. Earlier all animals were killed this way. Nowadays its not needed since we have cooling storages, so the animals are killed with a bullet or electrocuted before decapitation. I eat only NON-halal meat if there is any doubt...

Im a meat-eater, and i still respect this video. I agree, when you say that animals eat other animals, as a way of survival. And we eat it and dont care. Well im in the sport, of bodybuilding, and pretty successfull of that. It requires me eating alot of meat. I do it for the sport. Not just to enjoy. Is that wrong ? Whats ur opinions?

i am a meat eater i don't agree with abuse,but animals die and get eaten thats how it goes,but to drive this point home lets say alot of people go vegetarian (no offence to the vegetarians).you put people out of work and with this fucked up econamy you just put alot of people out of work out of cash and most likely on the street's,and as for the animal guess what lions,tigers,and bears oh my lol,are still eating cows,pig,chickins,etc and somtimes it takes hours for them to die tell me were wrong

@area28 im sorry to butt in here. But humans are no different than animals. Killer whales throw their meals around for extremly long periods of time before eating and even than some dont even eat. Chimpanzee studied have been seen poking chickens with pointed sticks just to watch the chickens reaction (all be it, it was a study since the chickens were caged) but the point being. Humans and animals alike kill to enjoy themselves.

Kind of ironic how this was linked to my "how to cook a lobster" video. Man, who took the seaweed away from those poor guys?? They need that while they're in the cooler! And who is that throwing them in to boiling water alive?! NO NO NO NO NO! Cut the head! Kills them in less than a second! Not to mention makes it so you can clean them immediately BEFORE they're cooked. No one wants to eat the intestines. People who still boil lobsters are just being mean. Yes, I eat meat and fish. Humanely killed? I think this a vision and most of the people (alos like me) does not know much about it. If we would know how other animals are killed, we would eat less meat or fish at all. But in those cases, where it is obvious that animals are tormented, one should not eat them. I also refuse fishing for fun.
