It's really nice, but if you change your background so that your tiger barbs can stand out more, it will look nicer.

@LiliFromHali Hmm. I thought about it. but the back wall is a corner and it looks really weird without the background. So maybe need to look for a better background. do check my updates. i have more videos

I'm wondering what kind of pebbles are you using, because I took pebbles from my neighbors lawn but I'm not sure if these pebbles are okay to be put in my fish tank.

@ALLkindstuff Should be OK, But if you have some sensitive fish i'd keep them in a separate container with the tank water for sometime so the bacteria forms and the other stuff is neutralized

Yeah in my 10 gallon I have 3 barbs (one of them is an A hole) and 1 platty, 2 mollies, and I just put 3 pink zebra danios that a friend gave me. And yeah as long as you keep the fish like the barbs in a big school they mostly chase each other. My platty doesn't take any crap though.

Do you know the dimensions of the tank? And who came first, the tiger barbs or plattys? I am very surprised to see tiger barbs, an aggressive fish, with a very calm, community fish, like the platty.

I would also think the tank would be very crowded with 12 mature fish in 10 gallons, and especially since you added crabs.

The barbs dont bother other fish as long as they 6 or more. Yes, it was getting a bit crowded. Now, have 6 barbs, 1 platty and crabs.

tiger barbs are calm if they are in a school of 5 or more .for the most part

@297137003 That is very true, as well if the other fish that are kept with the Tiger Barbs are fast swimmers and the same size or larger than the Tiger Barbs, it tends to be a very friendly environment.

My first 10 gallon aquarium. It currently has 5 Tiger Barbs 5 Green Tiger Barbs and 2 Plattys. The tank has malaysian drift wood, white pebbles, gravel and custom background. For the first upgrade, I will be adding substrate, plants and rocks. I built custom lighting which is suspended above the tank. Please give me ideas to improve aesthetics and any other tips.
