I got this for my parents last year and my father won't try it at all but my mom uses it alot,besides I was thinking of her when I bought so it worked out pretty well. She has a full time job outside the home and a full time job at home it was the least I can do.

We know that this is a rhetorical question. We appreciate the sentiment (and we AGREE)!!! There really isn't anything better. Nothing else in the market approaches its capabilities. Nothing else is as nuanced. Nothing else heals quite like Sogno. The chair does its job so well, that other companies (like Brookstone) have knocked off the appearance in hopes that they can convince less educated consumers that their lesser chair is somehow a good substitute for the real deal.

I'm very interested in this chair. I noticed that Osim, which is the brand offered at Brookstone, also offers a model that's very similar to this one. A little bit research shows their chair is designed and built by Inada. Do you know is there any differences between these two chairs in terms of functionality?

@sowudon OSIM sells something called the uAstro, and Inada has nothing to do with this chair at all. In fact, this chair is a blatant, unrepentant, low-grade knock off of the Inada Sogno DreamWave. Buyer beware! The guts and workings of the uAstro are thoroughly ordinary even though its China-based manufacturer, Easepal, would like you to believe otherwise. Brookstone buys this chair from Easepal and puts their OSIM name on it.

I have tried this chair today , I had one SANYO zero gravity before , I can tell , it's way better , but the problem with any massage chair you will get used to it not like human massage which you can change if you used to it.

it really is quite spectacular! We've had ours for about a month now and my chronic back pain is all but a distant memory. It is quite finicky though and the rollers tend to jump over the hoses to all the air bags. definatly needs some engininging refinements! that said, it's still THE BEST! :)

This chair is really a transformer laying on its back...when you sit on it you are actualy sitting on it's lap...so dont piss it off or it will digest you.

Wow this is alittle odd to me, but I actually feel relaxed just looking at it. I have a playlist of relaxation videos on here to help me sleep and actually added this to the list. It looks like a great chair but I wonder if it comes in any other colors.

I tried this at a tradeshow in Las Vegas. They had to kick me out of the sample chair! Crazy kitchy choices for the video's narration! Hillariously and oddly Japanese.

SOGNO hits North America in May. Select dealers will have it at first. Demand has been extreme, so we expect a pretty serious backorder situation. Dealers should be able to take pre-orders though...which isn't a bad idea.
