@ginger4baseball no need that is the stock air box. there are a few roots you can go. drop in aftermarket filter (like the previous owner did) cold air intake like i have with a new intake tube and filter and a stage 3 some call them (only ones i have seen are volant) have a box that stops you from sucking up the heat of the engine bay. mine is the after market intake tube and filter (the surround around it is a heat shield) filter tube and sheild all came together from afe

Lol cool I hope mine lasts forever but I looked under the hood earlier today and there was a k&n filter in it and it was a big like box, would the intake be in there? I've only had it since march, I got it for my bday and don't pay much attention under the hood

I can't tell how much mpg I gained because literally the day after I got the truck I put it on same with hp but the intake really works in weather -40*. My shorty header did give me a 6% gain in mpg which rounded out to right at 1 mpg

@ginger4baseball lol i have afe stage 2 wit i think its the pro dry filter. as far as my interior i have the blueish grey interior, wit the bench seats up front, and i have a 1 cuft custom built box sitting in place of the rear cup holder/armrest with a 10" fi ssd sub, green dome lights blue door lights, did have 12" led strips (green) under the dash (till a mechanic ripped the wires out of one) and a 48" led strip behind the rear headrest. will def get u a shot of the engine bay and outside

@ginger4baseball you can make threads asking questions post pics post knowledge u have tons i actually think there is a introduce yourself thread in the gen 1 part and a how to work the site thread. i have used it many times. most help was when my starter went out. btw how many miles on ur truck

S10 zr2 are v6 lol I want my truck loud but not to loud.do u know if 40 series sound good?? Or 44s

@wormyrocks95 they are good and sound good on v8s. i have heard it b4 a v6 with flowmaster and at idle it sounds very v8ish but revs its just like wooohoooo AWWWWWWW. if i where u i go with a magnaflow to maybe give you more rumble. also the flowmaster might end up giving you bad drone in the cab. best thing to do is search v6 s10 exhaust on here, listen to they diffrent setups and choose from which u like the best

@wormyrocks95 no offense but flowmasters like that on <v8 sounds silly but i hop it works lol swap a small block in that s10 and make it a beast :P. and no magnaflow makes a 4" round straith through muffler similar to a glasspack but quieter called a magnapack

@ginger4baseball i got you. there is a guy on tundrasolutions that actually made a home made ram air setup to fit in the hole in the bumper its pretty impresive. cant get any better than actual ram air

@ginger4baseball i would suggest the afe. video response is when i first got the truck and put the intake on so u can hear the sound of it. it sounds bad ass and 2 you have the option of a dry filter. if you put to much oil in the ones that require oil u will throw a cel due to a gummed up maf sensor. also join tundrasolutions tons of info about the truck and lots of mod/general info im italiantundra88 over there
