This is an amazing flight. I took it back in the 90s when PIA operated the F27 on this route. From my right side window seat I had an amazing view of Nanga Parabat & K2 (in the distance) while the flight followed the river valley towards Gilgit.
It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen and the flight is an adventure. I'm glad PIA has upgraded the fleet to the ATR. They appear a little more solid than the F27.
if the weatehr is clear, then it takes 45 min only...
