I remember having to watch this movie in high school for science- fiction literature class. Thought it was bizarre , especially the beginning part. Had to read a lot of books by Arthur C. Clark. The only book i liked was "Childhood Ends". Still remember the name of the teacher Mr.Gathergood. Got a "C" in that class , didn't care much for the world of science-fiction.
