@iseezapie it would have to be on a case by case basis. Now for example if there was a dog who had a history of violence I would move to have it secured and away from people. If the dog was on the loose and was a clear and present danger then yes I would have no problem taking it down.
In the case of a shark it is different. You have to go out and find the sharks in their territory. Only put an animal down when it is a current threat to human safety.

@godshiva absolutely, I have no problem killing an animal to save a human life, but you said it perfectly yourself. There is no reason to shove your hand inside the shell and tempt fate. If this was an issue of them simply catching the turtles in a humane way for eating I would not have such an issue with this.

You said that you have no problem killing an animal to save a human life, but does that also extend to killing an animal that has already killed a human, like if a shark attacked and killed a human, would you advocate having the shark hunted down and killed? @iseezapie it would have to be on a case by case basis. Now for example if there was a dog who had a history of violence I would move to have it secured and away from people. If the dog was on the loose and was a clear and present danger then yes I would have no problem taking it down.
In the case of a shark it is different. You have to go out and find the sharks in their territory. Only put an animal down when it is a current threat to human safety.
