I just don't enjoy non-iron-sight FPS games as much as I used to. After playing iron-sighted FPS games, it's hard to go back to an onscreen reticle. Onscreen reticles just feel so blase' compared to proper sights.

Sometimes I think that iron-sight FPS games should have still have a bit of an indicator that shows when you have the best accuracy. For the sake of game balance guns in games don't become super accurate just because you've used the iron sights.

I think one of the very best non-iron-sight FPS games is SWAT 4 and its expansion pack, the Stetchkov Syndicate. You'd do well to check out how realistically it handles its firearms.
