Whow, then you must have fallen into a bucket of talent when you were a baby ;-) And/or practiced for 8 hours dayly...!? I mean the picking patterns and the chorus aren't such a big deal, but Tremonti's part of the solo, especially the fast G-aeolian part in bar 191and the speed picking in bars 208-10 are pretty hefty. How did you manage to get that down so quickly?

@rb1003 Actually, I'm starting to think that it's because my first year playing, I strictly played fingerstyle. Then I realized how important a pick was, so then I started using a pick.

I started off as an acoustic fingerstyle player for a little over a year, then when I got my electric, I realized how important a pick really is. However, I never really focused on solos, I was a hardcore rhythm player with more of a chordal style, so my shredding is kinda mediocre. My finger style is improving well, though, I'm learning 8 finger tapping now,
