personally my favorite part is keeping my eye tracked on the sun as it fades out. This is just simply mind bending, I have always felt so so thankful to be living in such an age of technology and enlightenment. I suppose humans can never know exactly what's out there, but with the power of astrophysics and space telescopes they have certainly painted a beautiful and convincing picture.
THUMBS UP if you think everyone should have to watch this when they wake up. This allows you to see how the petty things in life that we all get caught up in are meaningless. We should enjoy our lives, and not worry about the things that people make out of this hunk of space (material possession)
I'm a scientist and when I see something like this I feel like most of the people talking about God have really missed the point. When one truly begins to comprehend the scale of creation, how much there really is to know and explore, I find it hard to grasp how we can waste time arguing about different religions when there are so many wonders in the universe still awaiting us.
This is amazing work. It give scientific perspective to just how small and precious the earth really is. I hope more people see your video and absorb this lesson into their daily lives.
That was truly beautiful. I am one jaded son-of-a-bitch and it gave me chills multiple times. I am a scientist so I know the numbers behind the cosmos, but seeing it visually like this is something completely different. Thank you so much for putting this together, incredible work.
funny how this is always a computer image to show this kind of stuff. They make you think its all real but this is just computer generated images bases on renormalized mathmatics. The only way to see the galaxy is to be outside the galaxy the farthest satellite is barely out of the solar system. Science has become dogma. Cool animated movie though!
@1SmartMofo There are limits to what we can see. So obviously from our perspective looking outward we will see as far as we can see in all directions. So yes we are in the center of our "known" Universe.
The music is breathtaking, the sense of the scale of the universe is humbling to a point where I feel light headed and queasy. The universe is so beautiful and when you suddenly realise just how big it is, and gain the depth perception when looking at the night sky, it changes you. It changed me, and now I have a love for all things astronomy.
I really enjoy your videos. I have not seen all of them but so far this is one of my favorites. You probably get comments like this frequently but I believe there is no harm in complementing something. Really it's a brilliant string of events, circumstance, discovery, and inspiration that lead to everything, no matter how insignificant. So thank you for reminding me to thank everything that has allowed all great things to come, continue to do so, and will infinitely do so even past the stars.
Thank You for the video's,I have found that all of cosmos is the most wonderful of Gods creations.Us humans are very fortunate to have the experious to live in such a mysterious place.
this creation you have compiled is truly breathtaking! I am literally in awe, I was almost on the verge of tears! This voyage just seemed so familiar, it really hit home

Viewing this, I realize there's a lot of potential for more advanced civilizations out there.
I only hope and pray that if and when an advance ET civilization arrives, they aren't conquistadors.
