my dad went to iraq when i was in in jr. high. no one told me he was coming home. my little brother and my step family all knew he was coming home. they all got to go the airport and make signs and welcome him home. Ellen, you are amazing for making this happen. It makes me so happy to know someone does care.

I wondered for days why no one at my parents' house was picking up the phone. I mean, they were hard of hearing, but a few days was ridiculous.  Anyway, the good news for you is that your father is back, safe, and sound. That's the important part, so definitely focus on that. Big hugs and good thoughts.
