@V8TransAmGTA they are stainless works long tube headers, i bought them from hawks third gen. if you buy the y pipe you shouldnt need to modify anything at all.

yeah i have a 305 tbi. they are slow....thats y im droppin in a 355...i think it would be a good race to the LS1

depends whats done to the 355 and the car, im making somewhere around 400 flywheel hp right now, and with the cam going in soon will be around 450hp, plus ive got supporting mods on the car, gears, rear end, suspension etc.

Why don't you pay some attention to what your car looks like. One it's a Firebird. Firebird = SHIT. Two, it's got two colors of paint on it, red and white, that's gay, all you need now is blue and a few stars and you will really be a faggot. Sad thing is, you spent all the money on an LS1 swap, and you aren't *that* much faster than me. You probably have 290rwhp with that six speed. I got 170rwhp. My car has mods you retard. Try a cam and chip, and whatever else the previous owners did.

"One" did you know he installed a ford 9" rear in that car w/ 4:11 gears? (do you even know what that is?) "Two"- did you know this car started life as a 1984 Trans Am- he also swapped it over to a later style GTA TRANS AM. It's always been a Trans Am, always will be. "Three" yes, he is that much faster than you. He was when he bought the car from me, and he's even faster now with the MODS that he has done to it. No "magnaflow" muffler added to your mundane, base model 1992 camaro will keep up with even a stock LS1 equipped 3rd gen car, let alone this one. Dude, your car has a 305, and you think the ls1 isnt "that" much faster? Your slow, mentally, thats the only conclusion i can draw. and its not red and white, its primer. ls1s also put out over 290 TO THE WHEELS stock, my car has alot of bolt ons also, probably making close to 350RWHP. Your car on the other hand has a 305tbi, which is rated at 170 FLYWHEEL HP, you said yourself its running lean=not running right, so i doubt it has that.

your engine vs an ls1 with the same power, the ls1 will win. It is lighter, higher rpms with a better powerband.
