The reason it doesnt sell out is the fact that they can accomodate more people due to the fact that there are around 7 stages as opposed to one or two. When you spread it out like that, the venue is allowed to have an increased amount of ticket sales because one area will not be overcrowded. When the gorge sells out, like it did with Pearl Jam, less tickets were sold than the 06 warped tour, which recorded the highest amount of ticket sales ever for the gorge.

I was one of the ones trying to put the fires out, not a very safe work environment. Luckily it was raining, could have been worse. Campsites and vehicles could have caught fire. Luckily no one was seriously hurt, employees or patrons.

I've never seen it that bad there and I've worked at the Gorge for 15 years. Remember after KUBE Jam they banned camping after the shooting death? Don't be surprised if they don't ban camping for Warped next year.
