  • dog looks hungry...

  • Looks like fun!

  • Nice fish...no joke. Shame though that it was on 12 lb test and not higher, huge fish like that tend to use up all their energy in long fights and about 1 in 4 dies from exhaustion within a day after the release, even if it swims away.

  • awesome fish and nice release, well done!

  • lol 30 lbs maybe

  • awesome video. awesome experience

  • hahahaha that little digs like "holy fuck its jaws" :P

beautiful catch and nice to see those trophy's put back

  • beheameth

  • 2 words. holy crap

  • fishzilla

  • that is one big trout

  • I love jigging for lake trout. Much preferred over trolling / down-riggers, where I tend to get bored. I've had the most success with using 2 oz lead head jigs tipped with 3-4" white tube jigs. Using an 8' heavy action rod with ~ 12 lb. test. For some reason, white has worked the best for me, but that could be just the particular waters I fish.

  • nice // C nR catch release

  • Nice fish mate,dosent look like a 50 tho

  • Nice Fish, nice Video and i love the curious looking Jack Russel. Greetings from Germany

  • wow u were very calm i wouldve been spazzing

  • Well, you won't find a jig like that in a store! this one was kind of pieced together with a lead head and an old purple jig. We normally use large swimbaits similar to the Panther Martin Vivif, or a large lead head and an 8" Mag Tail grub like the ones Barlow's Tackle sells. Good luck fishing!

  • great fish! what kind of jig was that? I'm going on a fishing trip this summer and i'd like to get into something even a quarter that size! lol

  • Nice Laker!!!

  • Very nice vids and beautiful no-kill. Respect.

  • beautiful, take me please. lol

  • tasty fish but even better when let back in the water

  • @saintangerinc

Yes, most definitely all our trophy fish go back in the water, along with 90% of the rest of the fish we catch. We keep very few, but do enjoy some 3-4 pounders throughout the season!

  • @cheleigh10 spoken like a true fishermen :) much respect for letting go its ok to keep some of the smaller ones but the big boys you let go to spawn and make babies

  • @cheleigh10 no kidding when they get 15 + pounds they don't taste very good at all

  • thats so cool i wish i could get one that big

  • I caught a 1,000 lb trout once in this creek by my house. I used my neighbors chihauha for bait.

  • @31AntonioCromartie good one less chihuahua... :D

  • @31AntonioCromartie Fairview Ave. I remember you like fishing.

  • incredible footing, great release. Awesome catch bud.

  • This particular fish was caught on a 2 oz lead head with a purple rubber tail. We also use blue or white tails and have had success on all of them. This year we also had success later in July using 10oz shads that were designed for Cod fishing in the ocean.

  • WOW my personal best lake trout is 25 lbs Yukon here I come.... what type of jig did ya use

  • what type of jig where u using?

  • ahhh, man I cant wait to get back for the summer. That is one beutiful fish
