  • i have searched for years to find "histories mysteries" episodes. ty so much for posting a fav childhood program!

  • leonard nimoy is awesome!

  • Barf.

  • haha comedy

astrology can be put in that big file called "bull shit" along with crystals, homeopathy, chiropracting, fengshui, ley lines etc etc

  • @markandrach Count yourself in that file, son.

  • @AkiRyuuhane if you can prove this rubbish you believe in works, james randi has a cool million dollars waiting

    i wont hold my breath

a force can be measured so any force between planets and us is measurable

  • Oh dear. I started watching this to get a better idea of astrology, but once they mentioned the Mayans predicted the end of the world in 2012, that's it... im done with this horse shit. Mayans never said the world would end - they said their calendar cycle would finish and a new one would start up. idiots.

  • the three kings is a constellation, the french trois rois, and ala zeitgeist the sun goes below the horizon three days at xmas then resurrected, which was copied from yule cause if jesus existed he was born in summertime but they wanted their sun king to replace pagan sun worship.

  • screw that, my whole personality is not defined by how the planets are aligned. i'm much more complex than charts made by primitive tribes and people that thought leaches would cure you because they sucked out the "bad blood". it's interesting, but that's about it for me.

  • @cellcoremax1 ASTROLOGY does not DEFINE your personality. There is also something called FREE WILL... I also study SYNASTRY between 2 people. What I have discovered is how & why people get together & MARRY. Again, our FREE WILL dictates whether or not we STAY in commited relationships...our individual charts also can predict this.CHARTS can actually show the emotional/intellection/spiritual connection between 2 people.....ASTROLOLGY is very COMPLEX not as simple as SUN-sign horoscopes.

  • @kyleemama81 thanx for clarifying, didnt know that before. free will? totally blew my mind. aparently it needs to be complex, so that you can pay up for every chart they do, from: how the moon effects you, to the: which saltelite suits your morning mood best? (i'm kidding, no need to put your masters on the table and explain why, how and where am i wrong) LIKE I SAID BEFORE: interesting, but that's all there is to it- FOR ME. (you can think/believe/know whatever you like, it doesn't affect me)

  • @cellcoremax1 Actually, I am an astrologer. Been studying it for 20 years. I only paid for one chart my whole life. You are entitled to your opinion of course...all I was saying that your THEORY that astrology is attempting to DEFINE who you are is totally wrong. Our ASTROLOGY (birth) chart is a map. I suppose "perfect" people don't need any guidance through life, my appologies. Take care:)

  • @kyleemama81 surprise surprise, didn't see that one comming. you paid for one (don't mind if i lol), others pay for a lot more probably, for some bs story that's never gonna come true. doesn't try to define you ... that's why there are so many books stating just that, right? and lastly, don't say "well intended things" if you don't mean it, you just come out as a prick -cheerio

  • fuck science ..... science is suppressing the right part of the brain which is responsible for intuitive thinking... In the modern days, we have been brought up to solely depend on the rational side of the brain

  • The Maya did not foretell bearded white skinned men. They confused their god quetzacotl (The feathered serpent, Plumed god) for the appearance of Cortez which wore a similar hat with a feather in it like heir god had. They therefore believed he was the incarnation of their god.

  • Astrology, Alchemy, Intelligent Design, Lunar Effect, Young Earthers, Flat World Society, Planet X, all pseudoscience bullshit

  • at least youwant to think that to maintain your comfy world view, good luck with that

  • @JLuvs0fficial "pseudoscience bullshit"... science has become the modern day religion.. you take science as an authority for seeking truth. Science is based on the five senses of humans and by saying we humans can know everything for certain by science is a superficial thinking. really a fallacy of human superiority complex; we humans are not the be all and end all of this infinite universe.. there are infinite possibilities to consider

  • Read a new book just out "My Life Among the Angels" by Jane Ann Lanie; gives astrological charts given by angels for the U. S. Chart, Crucifixion Chart and Chart regarding his return. Interesting read.

  • hi I made this video for a school project. Its about astrology. If someone could watch it and comment that would be most appreciated as I need at least 5 comments or theyll fail me. even if it is just to say my video sucked ass or the video quality was horrible I don't care I just need five.

thank you so much, sorry for spamming : )

  • spacebargalaxy.webs.com

  • Vague statements that describe just about anybody.

    No scientific evidence whatsoever.

    Nothing to see here.

  • @JRod8885 lol, you didn't even look at the evidence you ignorant child. Ahh I love you, but I HATE WITH GREAT PASSION ignorance and fear and cruelty and hate. Maybe you will see the truth in front of your face one day lol. I will pray for that day! For you and nearly everyone else on this planet that is lost in the dark like you. I hope you at least get an open mind enough to not say this when you didn't even look, you know? Like, hold your tongue unless your going to actually say something!<3

and ask yourself is this not the same things you have been seeing elsewhere, and here sometimes from well meaning people that have been led astray into believing them?

    It is not a coincidence.

  • These videos are for everyone

who reads this comment to look into, exposing the NWO's New Age Religion, and how it has begun to permeate all aspects of our culture

even the truth movement, PLEASE take the time to watch these if you haven't seen them already so you won't be deceived, I know atleast one of these

people was killed for speaking out against it, among other things. I recommend god's of The New Age, being the most important.

  • Evil triangle at the moment of my writing this between Saturn, Jupiter and Neptune.

And then you have the Japan Earthquakes and aftermath.

This is basically the whole definition of astrology for the sceptic: that such events always seem to be synchronized to (and not caused by) such bad configurations. A sceptic can deny word-of-mouth readings, but to deny that synchrony is to deny an intuition into meaningful events + the probability of those configurations.

  • At the 1:30 mark or so, "in the mid 1930s" a German astrologer predicted the rise of Hitler."

Hitler was in power by early 1933 immediately after the burning of the Reichstag, yes?

  • you dont lay your whole fortune on a single bet, why not. because theres always a chance of losing. that obviously goes into these kind of things also, but that does not mean they wouldnt have any significance. always keep your eyes open. let people believe what they wanna believe, as long as its not affecting you, then walk off. if you met a billionaire who based his trust on faith.fate.and the stars, you still wouldnt believe him anyway. truthfully, ask yourself who is really closed.

  • So the moment I pressed play, I was like "OMG! Is that Leonard Nimoy?" I then paused and spent ten minutes searching the web, trying to find out if it was. Eventually I gave up and came back here. As soon as I pressed play again, I heard "I'm Leonard Nimoy. Join us as we open the door..."

    Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu...

I feel like I just trolled myself or something.

  • its funny people actually beieve that giant orbs of plasma powered by nuclear fusion surrounded by large debris clouds inhabited by larger debris(planets) can affect how well their day goes and how "lucky" they are. astrology should not be taken seriously, seeing as how it was developed by ignorant people from ancient times

  • more garbage for foolish people to believe in. And another in an endless line of scams for con artists to separate those fools from their money and identity

  • It's an embarrassment that even now, in the 21st century, people still fall for astology. Astrologers are just gullible or on the con. Every time it's been tested it's failed. Most astologers won't be tested, showing even they don't believe their woo. We've progressed so far in removing our prejudices but astrology still labels people without any thought. There's one born every minute.

  • astrology promotes the worst thing in the world: uncritical thinking. The more we teach people to simply accept anecdotal stories, hearsay, cherry-picked data (picking out what supports your claims but ignoring what doesn't), and, frankly, out-and-out lies, the harder it gets for people to think clearly. If you cannot think clearly, you cannot function as a human being. I cannot stress this enough. Uncritical thinking is tearing this world to pieces

  • Know the universe.. is know thyself

  • ok let's get over the fact that a few european idiots thought the earth was flat and that everything revolved around earth. That's BS the Sumerians 1000s of years ago knew all the planets in the solar system and understood things vastly beyond their time. "Science" cannot be viewed separately from religion both are faith presuppositions otherwise science would never change and would remain constant. Scientific quantification doesn't QUALIFY the existence, origin, or classification of ANY thing

  • @100Versityle science is based on expirements and careful research, not faith

  • @saxabass who is the vessel for the experiment? Human ideas, hypotheses, theories...including tools, measurement systems, etc. that are all prone to error (i.e. margin of error) not including that the scientist is a variable him/herself. Any analysis of research methods, OR an HONEST/ethical scientist will tell you that ultimately there is a faith presupposition with ANY epistemological outlook of quantification. This is why you have valid "scientific evidence" with different expert conclusions

  • @100Versityle true, not all scientific methods are to be trusted 100% but still the fact remains that the theories and postulates of the scientific realm have actually been tested by many people and are not just conjured up by imagination. it isnt blind faith

  • ok let's get over the fact that a few european idiots thought the earth was flat and that everything revolved around earth. That's BS the Sumerians 1000s of years ago knew all the planets in the solar system and understood things vastly beyond their time.

  • gggggg

  • fffffff

  • ok i am so confused did the Astrology signs change or not is there 13 now according to a article i read i use to be a Gemini and im now a Taurus is that true did they change the dates is there now 13 instead of 12 plus i just seen this story on the news saying the same thing i googled it and i found something from 07 s...o why is it just now

on the news and if it is true why is the new sign and the date changes aren't made in the paper and websites if its been known since 07

  • @JSWISTN There are multiple systems of astrology, technically your sign in a daily horoscope sense hasn't changed, however, the actually position of the stars in the sky relative to the earth have changed. There is also a 13th constellation, but they don't include it for some reason because astrology makes up a lot of random rules :S

  • @Sniperz14x we haven't used that sign before, bc up until now no one was born under that sign. They don't make up random rules, you are just ignorant to what's happening, and we can't be mad at you for that, but we can be mad at you for opening your mouth when you don't know anything. Study up before you say anything next time

  • @durrrimcomin No one's been born under it? You say that as if people will ever be born under it. That constellation just is not included in astrology ever since its conception. And believe me I have studied this stuff quite a bit in my spare time and there definitely are random rules that even professional astrologists can't seem to explain to me. For example; Sun square Venus denotes difficulty in romantic interaction between a couple but how exactly did that get assigned to that relationship?

  • "Today science denies the validity of astrology, yet for countless centuries, millions of people have believed in it". SO???? That doesn't make it any less wrong. For "countless centuries" people believed the earth was flat! For this show to openly admit that astrology has no empirical backing whatsoever and then spend the next 60 minutes advocating for it, all while trying to appear objective and scientific is truly ridiculous.

  • Astronomy = science, experiments, proofs, expanding the mind through asking questions and solving them

Astrology = fun to read, and bullshit

  • Is not about believing blindly in any such things. I personally do not believe in Astrology 100%. However, in science it works something like this:If you cant disprove it then it could be true, its called theories. So why not think of spirituality, religion and I guess astrology in this way. Can you truly disprove astrology? religion?God? I do not think so. Can I prove it? no i cant. But I do believe that there is a certain beauty in believing in mysticism and doubting science can solve it all.

  • @rodriguezirene Astrology has nothing to do with religion, however religions of the world are sort of based upon astrology. Astrology itself is just a lot of human knowledge about the nature surroundings - around humans. However, natal charts are the best possible evidence which validates astrology. That being said, each person have their own unique horoscope. Sign and Rising sign are just positions of the Sun as well as First house (Ascedent) at the moment of birth - when baby breathes 1st time

  • Mysticism and Astrology have absolutely no scientific proof. In other words they are complete bullshit. If you claim "DERP Faith and Science are different Science can't disprove my random belief because I have faith in them", then I have faith you literally have dog shit for brains.

  • The 3 kings are in all beliefs dating back before & after Sumerian times, Infact Hinduism will tell you we have been standing upright for more than 2 million years. In Greek beliefs the 3 kings are Zues,Posiedon, & Hades. And if delving deep enough, we discover Jesus in representation to Posiedon or Pisces, marking Leap Year. This is also evident of the highly inaccurate linear method of measuring a 3D time/space & how esoteric beliefs discounted cosmic influence & manipulated society into lie

  • @LendMeYourHand I recomend you to watch this video "the pharmacratic inquisition"

  • Astrology is stupid and if you believe in astronmay that mean you a stupid two.

    -sarcasm.

  • astrology is bullshit. if you believe in it, frankly, you're an idiot. so there. see the video "carl sagan on astrology" here on youtube. maybe there's still hope for you. though i doubt it.

  • @slash5754 Thank you TROLL. We REALLY value your opinion.

  • @socrstreets "The extensive studies on astrology have repeatedly failed to demonstrate statistically significant relationships between astrological predictions and operationally defined outcomes." Is it tested by lovely science? That's why.

  • @RainWolf20 I personally think that astrology can't make a set-in-stone prediction because life is too chaotic and random...Life is not a straight line. Each decision branches us toward a different outcome.

I think astrology CAN point out general things...but I certainly don't expect astrology to explain my every move. It's just a good, solid guide.

If the moon's lunar pull can cause the Earth's tides, why can't it (along with other planets and stars) change my mood?

  • The reason why Astrology isn't studied is because people are brainwashed to believe it isn't true, so they don't bother researching it. Like when scientist say ghost don't exist. Amusing conclusion. If you don't research in the correct locations for the proof, you're never going to find it. I'd hate to break it to the non-believers, but Astrology is very real. Calculate your Astrological chart, since you have nothing to lose. "OH, but it's nonsense!" You're right. Wouldn't wanna be proved wrong.

  • @RainWolf20

The extensive studies on astrology have repeatedly failed to demonstrate statistically significant relationships between astrological predictions and operationally defined outcomes. Effect size tests of astrology-based hypotheses conclude that the mean accuracy of astrological predictions is no greater than what is expected by chance.

Much of what is claimed in astrology can be very vague, this allows them to avoid making verifiable predictions, and gives them the ability to attach significance to arbitrary and unrelated events, in a way that suits their purpose.

  • @socrstreets

Also much of what is claimed about astrology contradicts what is known in physics. This wouldn't be such a problem if astrologers could demonstrate that their theories explain nature better than much of modern physics, but they can't.

  • The core of Astrology is math. Science is also math.

    Imagine that, folks.

  • ALWAYS OBSCURE..THE UNIVERSE

  • You people actually believe in Astrology? I prefer divining the entrails of feral animals; it provides a degree of theatricalism.

This just in from Venus: the universe is indifferent.

  • Deut:4:19: And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which YHVH thy Father hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

    Don't believe in HOROSCOPES

Why do people think ,the sun, moon and stars, can influence their lives.

The Bible teaches that those who engage in the sins of false worship and idolatry will not go unpunished.

  • @derekdb2 The bible only allows for ONE answer. An answer BASED ON ASTROLOGY btw. Your "god" only has one defense - "god is testing us". God can't elaborate because he doesn't have a leg to stand on. SCIENCE DOES. MATH DOES. ASTROLOGY DOES. These things are documented, studied, and recorded over and over again through out history (since the beginning of civilization as we know it), by the GREATEST minds throughout history for a reason. Because its where our "truth" lies. Xianty is merely control

  • @Libbe4815162342 wow such hatred towards something that promises people who practice faith in god are gonna live in paradise forever. you may not believe in the bible but who would hate something like that? people love books about love and being happy so why hate something thats all about that and more? does the reasoning behind that sound right to you? i dont know about you but to me it sounds great :)

  • @gforceram The reason I "hate" the bible so much is because it is stunting the growth of humanity. I live in a country where Church and State are suppose to be separate...yet religion has completely taken over our Gov't. People deny science and progress for the sake of a magical man in the sky, and a promise of paradise (or the threat of Hell). Every war ever fought had to do w/ religion....Religion is an excuse and a deterrent. The world would be far better off w/o it, there's NO denying it.

  • @Libbe4815162342 yeah state and church are suppose to be separate throught the whole world so I agree with you on that one. when people deny science they are denying how they came to be in the process. The teaching that there is a hell is a false teaching. The bible actually teaches that when people die their soul dies with them that it doesn't go into this thing a lot of churches call hell. I dont know if every war started because of religion but I do agree that those religions need to go.

  • @gforceram I appreciated your open mind. Check out the "recommended" link to the comments' right called "Religion Comes From Ancient Astrology ...".

And I agree that not EVERY war was caused by religion, but I do bet we could count the # of non-religious wars on our hands. I used to appreciate what religion CAN do for ppl (a sense of community). But the truth is, you can get these things in other ways. I just want ppl to stop mocking their parents beliefs, and do some friggin research....

  • @Libbe4815162342 And I really appreciate what you said because you know what? a lot of people also lose faith in religion all together because of their false teachings. I do agree that there are other ways to find a sense of community so I would personally recommend you accept a personal bible study with Jehovahs witnesses or at least accept a though or 2 from them the next time they knock on your door because they really are the only true religion in my opinion. They are all about keeping peace

  • end of the world my arse!

  • Very interesting video!

  • The reason astrology was considered heretical by the early church is because it was associated with paganism. Paganism is in direct conflict with monotheism, obviously, but i believe 1 god designed this system and like the discovery of gravity, researching and finding patterns in astrology isnt heretical. There was a battle between ideologies, and the snake represented the cultures that used astrology and held the snake in highest regards - Mayans, Egyptians, Cambodians (Angkor), etc... {shrug}

  • Pretty good video. Folks, astrology is an age-old practice. Some folks here need to hit the history books, and not the mythology books...

  • I read the christ myth which is about religion coming rom astrology

  • The christian bible even talks about the lights in the affirment that gives us signs for the dates seasons ect. If you look at what we are and what we are in it will give you enlightenment .

  • funny thing about astrology. Your sign is supposed to be the constellation the sun is in front of when you are born. This was correct in ancient times, but because of earth's axial precession all the signs are off by about a month.

  • this guys is absolutely correct, it is found that astrology is much more ancient than what we think it is. if you understand astrology, you can pinpoint the origins of the egyptians dating back to approx 15,000 years ago.

  • false religions look to their Sun man no the true Son of Man.

  • @daysofnoah2012 If you look in the front of the King James version of thye bible you will note it says SUN not Son ( in his strength), all religions are set up by the same Luciferian mosaic order.

  • @MARCHERET your evil if u think hitler was a good man

  • @OnlineWithVixen Germany and Britian and America where holding hands during the war, It was to reduce the jewish population, reduce the amount of blue collar workers Increase Mosaic wealth and advance technology. Germany couldnt make av gas for their planes without british petroleum companies to start with. and when you investigate the whole war and its paper trail ect you can see it was a set up to kill workers and boast the economy.

  • Science is the religion of the 20/21st centuries, following dogmas and tenets and believing in Educated Guesswork (theories). Even when this guesswork is not proven to be true, they still preach it as truth. If any of their guesswork is then proven to be just that- guesswork and is totally wrong, they simply come up with another guess. They keep on doing this until one of their guesses hopefully works out to be right. Also from the gun to the bomb, it has killed more people than any other dogma.

  • @postsurrealfish - wrong! Science works by hypothesising (the 'guesswork' bit), then testing the hypothesis and finding evidence for it. If it doesn't turn out to be useful, then it gets discarded. And no scientist preaches anything as 'true', merely 'well-supported' at best.

Science is a way of getting ever-closer to the truth, by refining a theory until its predictions become more and more accurate.

As for science killing people, you're wrong - it's the dogma of metalwork that kills people.

  • @HawthornOwl No, leaders cant control people and population growth ect without slaughtering a few. As for the truth, the average person wouldnt believe it or understand it. A hint for you , it all revolves around androgany and the future generations on the real world not this copy.

  • @MrThenumbernine - You're correct, I have no clue what you're talking about.

  • I wonder hiw many Ophiucans there are

  • @jposco You wouldn't believe how many people with the same sign as me also have two eyes, two ears, and even a nose!

Seriously, though, most people run the gamut when it comes to personality traits. Most people are sometimes stubborn, outgoing, etc, etc.

  • True, but think of this. If the moon has an influence on the Ocean (tides, for example) and humans are made up of 70% water... would the moon not have an influence on us? Rationally, it's hard to accept it, but it's not completely farfetch'd. Astrology is becoming more and more of a science rather than a "new age hype". I believe every floating body in space has an influence on everything else. It's called gravity.

  • @DrunkenLeprechaunPro

well thoughts but incorrectly reaasoned, the moon's effect on the tides are due to the fact that it comes closer to the earth at certain intervals, but wheras the mass of the oceans is enormous and the human body is miniscule and subject to the influence of earth's gravity much moreso than the moon's

if we were much more massive, and not so mucho 70% water as 70% liquid, then there would indeed be human tides

  • @ ibajem

That's not my point. The moon's effect on the tides is also physical and evident, it's easy to notice because the ocean is so big... the effect it would have on the human body would be different. Also, be it water, liquid methane or orange juice, the Moon's effect is still present.

  • @DrunkenLeprechaunPro

    definately true.

but an object the size of the ocean, should it be solid, would experience the pull of the moon without the deformation characteristic to fluids, such is the case of the planet itself (or the earthy parts, to be precise)

the human body recieves a small jolt from the moon aswell, but 1) we are small things. it is about 0,03% of the pull exerted upon us by the earth, and 2) even if we were liquid, the effect would be nearly null like a on a glass of water

  • Such an informative video. *Continues to part 2*

  • Another brave censorous post by the communist government of the world. If you don't believe in it, why did you even come to this video? What do you care? This is the rationale that led all the religious persecutions in communist countries...ANYthing is dangerous in the wrong hands.

  • r u saying this post was put up by the government or not?

  • shut up!!!

  • Does anyone know how I can calculate CAZIMI (also known as casimi and zaminium)? It refers to when a planet is within 16 or 17 minutes or arc from the centre of the sun disk/heart of the sun/core of the sun.

Online charts, illustrations, books, etc., would all be helpful!

  • thats not true that the mayans believe the end of the world is 2012. it just marks in there calendar a new age and is something to be celebrated...look it up it was in a recent article...the one who said this was of mayan ancestry its a western belief not what the mayans believe

  • not only in a article i saw it on a documentary. he said if you came up to any of them with that theory they wouldn't know what you were talking about.

  • why dose it keep jumping?

    thanks for sharing.

  • Astrology is the main source of all religions...

  • @FlashingSergio after all, the stars are from which they came... who might "they" be? depends on who you ask... time will unveil.

  • @FlashingSergio no dreaming is.

  • @FlashingSergio and ETs

  • @FlashingSergio nonsense, God FORBIDS astrology practice in the bible (read Lev) He doesn't say its fake he describes it as evil.

  • Reading the book by Eysenck and Nias about collecting data to prove/disprove astro. The problem with collecting data is that there's no mechanism to correlate the similarities between moon in aries and moon in the first house. The Statisticians will see this as different. The sun in any particular sign must be unaspected to give a strong definition of the qualities of that sunsign. This is not always possible. Applying the collection of data to prove astrology or not is not the best approach.

  • "unaspected" is not a real word. It is bullshit Astrology jargon.

Also Astrology fails any tests to prove it works because it simply does not work.

  • Unaspected is a real word, you don't know what it means. Collecting data, stats? Cannot prove or disprove astrology. Collecting stats is a failed mathematical tool that use is of limited value.

  • No, Unaspected is not a real word. It is bullshit astrology jargon.

You are against collecting data and results? That is very convenient considering Astrology cannot provide anyone with anything other than random bullshit. That is why it does not hold up to any sort of testing.

  • Astrology cannot be tested as it is so diverse and varied. It could be tested individually but merely claiming it to be something that is just elaborate stereotyping is false. Astrology isn't so materialistic as statistics are. Can you measure love? How about feeling or sensation, can you measure those?

  • Yes you can measure all of those things. Stop being delusional, Astrology is not real.

  • A human being is proportionately closer to the planets of the solar

system than he is to the smallest particles known to science within his

own body. A man 5 feet 10 inches tall has voluntary control of particles

... in groups if not individually ... 1,750,000,000,000,000 times

smaller than himself. If the electrons in such a human body were each to

become as large as the man, he would extend to 200,000,000,000 miles.

  • Pluto, the most distant planet, moves on an axis 4,000,000,000 miles

system would appear as a tiny eddy 1/5" in diameter. Since this enormous

universe which is a man can affect and be affected by the particles of

which it is composed, there is nothing a priori impossible about the

particles called humans being affected by the heavenly bodies.

  • A human

body is about a thousand times closer to Pluto in space than one of its

electrons is to it in size.

  • i cant understand why your comment got a thumbs down... Astrology IS bull shit.. why? it is a method of evaluation that relies on peoples emotional bar of what constitutes as evidence. just like religion... BULL!!

  • and you know this because you've studied the matter deeply and came to the conclusion it made no sense right?

  • @chadmaveric .... ok smartypants, why is it that the Mayans used the cosmos (astrology) and developed a calender that's more mathematically correct than this definite "bullshit" gregorian calender that the western world has come to believe in? What constitutes as evidence is your ignorance!

  • @xXtwittyburdXx The gregorian calendar isn't bullshit. But I agree - they were certainly amazing mathematicians and astrologers, as many ancients were. I think your dislike of the Gregorian comes from a dislike of Christianity. It's hard to deny that Jesus of Nazareth's life wasn't a turning point for history, even if you aren't Christian. And there's no reason to hate that we have a "Common Era" just because it's associated with that man.

  • @xXtwittyburdXx

    prove your statement

    tell or show

how is the Mayan calender better

    than the Gregorian calender

your use of bad language proves nothing

    but your own failings

    your own lack of

  • @xXtwittyburdXx real shit wake the fck up.

  • @xXtwittyburdXx

they used astronomy not astrology man, tracking and studying the stars and planets

  • @xXtwittyburdXx "...the cosmos (astrology)..."

The cosmos and astrology are not the same thing!!!

  • @xXtwittyburdXx

The correctness of the Mayan calendar doesn't provide any evidence of astrology.

The cosmos is NOT astrology; the absurd belief that balls of rock and gas millions of miles away can affect you does count as astrology, however.

  • @malcolmeat You'd be surprised how the universe effects you, even what is miles away.

  • @Genkakuzai

It is absurd to believe that there is any scientific evidence to support the idea that large balls of gas and dust can affect human life.

  • @malcolmeat I'm sure it once absurd to assume DNA was a double helix, or dinosaurs once existed. There are plenty of things we can pass off as "absurd" yet somehow have an ounce of truth. To put it more plainly, I'm sure plenty of people would find it absurd to think we humans live on a large ball floating around yet another ball of fire, all the while a rock rotates around the ball we inhabit. Furthermore, the fire ball is able to transfer heat to us over thousands of miles... Absurd indeed.

  • @Genkakuzai

I'm afraid that your logic doesn't hold up. The phenomena that you describe can be described, analyzed and supported by scientific evidence. DNA, dinosaurs, and the heliocentric theory have all been validated by science.

Astrology, however, began from superstitions and has only gotten more absurd as scientific knowledge of the universe expanded.

You cannot say with any certainty that the future will hold scientific validation for astrology.

  • @malcolmeat How about, you give me your birth time (Hour/Minute), Birth place (City/State), and birth date (Month/Day/Year). Then I'll send you some information and you can judge it for yourself? The universe is far more than physical, regardless if Astrology is 100% accurate or not, it is a tool for self awareness. Until you test these "superstitions" for yourself, do not try to disprove something you do not understand.

  • @Genkakuzai You'll have to excuse the non-believers. They don't realize how wrong/uninformed they really are.

  • @Genkakuzai Is it not funny that people actually call themselves skeptics and scientists when they use none of the methods of science to test these thing out? People need to get rational, the entire universe is an intricate and beautiful and mathematically perfect! It is a WHOLE SYSTEM! You can not fully even understand astrology until you fully understand ALL things. The MORE INFO you have the larger your perception and perspective. This is really simple. Poor children, may YHShVH open 3rd eye!

  • @koberask

I don’t know very much about astrology, but I want to pose a question in response to your comment. You mentioned that “You can not fully even understand astrology until you fully understand ALL things.”… How do you go about that? (No hostility intended, just curious).

  • @kuwaimaha Yes, that is exactly what I would do. You must be psychic.
