at the end when they choose a card at the end from the pile, can it be any card they CHOOSE? if thats the case i ended up with 7 cards and chose one so i fliped that back. my cards to add were 2+4+3+3+1+8= 21 ... so the chosen card was a 6. how does the calculations work now. do you times the chosen cards number by 9 to get what ?? if thats the case then its comes to 54 but my cards came up to 21?? either i misunderstood this or "The power of 3 " doesn't work :) someone reply if need for answer

instead of doing 3x twice... just tell your audience to mult by 9. Then flip over a card. Same next mult of 9 applied.

The key for this trick is that the digit sum of ANY mult of 9 is a mult of 9.. ie: 9, 18, 27, 36... etc. 99, 108, 24435...

Basically, you can easily pick a 50 digits number that's a mult of 9.

The problem is that many people learn, whether through school or other tricks, that the digits of any multiple of 9 add up to 9. by seperating it, you are complicating and therefore hiding the trick.

@bluejames1998 It is possible. 9x3 is 27 , therefore he has a 2 and a 7. but he cannot have an ace alone at the end cause 1st two cards he picked up were 2 nines. He fucked up with that ace :D

The cards in the old row may be recycled as soon as they have been calculated. As long as all of the cards that are on the previous row can be remembered/accounted for, they may be immediately recycled into the deck.

@Xortex3 If i didn't work, then you miscalculated. This is all about numbers and the outcome can never be wrong. I'd recommend trying again and using a calculator in case you just made a mistake doing quick calculations.
