Am I the only person who wonders whats up with the ending of the movie when the camera is focused on the image of the big eye with a skull in it and then Donnie says "I hope that when the world comes to an end, I can breathe silently, because there will be so much to look forward to." Definitely some sort of occultic symbolism I just cant figure it out.
So eerie, yet beautiful. It's amazing how a simple song can tap into your emotions and send chills and goosebumps down your body. Sure can touch ones soul!
I must say that there isn't a single song in this movie that doesn't somehow reverberate in me in a way that sends chills down my spine. All of these songs really capture the essence of beauty.

Some music has such emotion and value in it that someone can relate to it in such a way that it is so emotional for them they cry. Sometimes it's like that or they can relate to it in a happy way, or angry way. Again, growing up has nothing to do with not crying over music. I cry everytime i listen to Gary Jules's cover of Mad world. It's a depressing song and I can relate to it completely.
