I recently drove a tuned up version of the RS.

A costumer who knows what he wants.

Turbo, wastegate, inlet manifold, injectors, full exhaust system. 400+hp 600nm.

As the weather was dry, i can tell you, driving along at 140km/h in 4th,

giving it all and STILL no grip.

Very, Very, impressive.

Yes the R8 got alot of rewards from alot of autosports magazines... which dont mean all that much. Surely audi has enough money to buy them. This doesn't make it a good car. Its overpriced and fairly slow for it's specs. But the discussion was never about that. It is about how a car that costs more and gives less "sucks" in comparison to a better car.

@asshatnowhere159 no problem, the fun fact part is that was the gtr 2009. The 2011 model which I got has 50 more horsepower and even better handling, at still the same price. It is an unbeatable beast that takes on porsche 911s. Audi r8 isnt even mentioned in that categorie anymore. At 1/3rd of the price!
