@redbullhead i agree, i also really loved requiem for a dream for it amazing acting. but all in all it was just so overbearingly depressing. spun was alot more enjoyable on many different levels. the soundtrack playing a huge part. but also all the characters were so well thought up and at many points during the movie i found myself laughing. this is a lifestyle i lived for many years and seeing it portrayed in such a different light than just the ugliness of it made me happy!

I loved it where he took his new meth gear into that tiny little trailer on a lonely hill at the ass end of the west coast. It blew up into a huge fireball in slow motion. I took it to be an accident though, the inevitable fate of The Cook's career. Perfect ending to a great film.
