question?will that amp work good with 2 15's kicker comp? i had a 2000 watt boss chaos amo and i fried that one today its been working for like a year
@mtlh05 I couldnt tell ya bro the system goes in july 18. I've done research on them though and previous versions of them and they seem to hit pretty good. After i get it installed ill post a video for ya.
@mtlh05 I recently got them installed and will be posting a video for you, these things with the right power are amazing. They have crisp highs/mids I am a little hesitant to turn up the lows though, considering the subs are loud enough. For the price they are amazing.
@mtlh05 the speakers are great i have them ran to a boss phantom series 2 channel amp. They are all bridged to one channel at 4 ohm and put out roughly 100 watts a speaker. They have distortion when i turn them up high, thats because theres no crossover. But my subs hit hard turns low so no need to go higher than 10.
But see I have changed my mind on the 8 in the door panel bc I'm getting a blazer nd I'm jus run with 4 speaker nd I have one 15 in my old truck before nd that sucker pound good

no im putting 8 datyon audio speaker the two front door panel will have 4 in each door panels four boss 12's nd two boss 4-channel amps in my new truck

@jamesdavis19 that is a terrible idea for many reasons. Alone 8 doors speakers on one head unit will burn out the unit, but 32 door speakers? Say goodbye to your head unit and many of those speakers. A unit only puts out enough power for 4 you will need a new amp just for the speakers. And get a 2 or mono channel amp for subs, 4 channel amps are for speakers and arent designed to push subs. Btw instead of 4 12s save space and get two 15s.
@jamesdavis19 sorry I thought u meant 8 in each door, missed the four part but 8 speakers is going to be tricky, alittle obnoxious if you ask me though. Four speakers are loud enough, just work on getting two 15s in a ported box. Believe me you won't be disappointed.
@bitlord888 You know i seen you comment on alot of peoples videos regarding these subs. If you are curious about getting into audio systems boss audio is the way to go. They are cheap and still give you a good turn out. A peugeot 106 is fairly small so you are dealing with limited space. My guess is your going for a small sealed box and one 12 to match. If your trying to be loud one 12 isnt enough, but it will still hit strong. Try to get plans for a ported box that will fit the space you have.
@jamesdavis19 thanks the only thing I seemed to have a problem with is boss door speakers or at least the models I pruchased. They have 0 capability of hitting low notes so I went with pioneer. Otherwise boss is cheap and effective the best combo.
@HolyShitNewsTV a port tuning is based on the dimesions of the port I.E. TxWxL. There is calculators out there to determine necessary lengths to tune a port to desired hz. This particular port is 12 inches tall by 1.5 wide. You can also get port holes which are adjustable to your desired hz, but keep in mind plastic flexes overtime. If you want these plans they will house up to two 12s.
@socomsnipa904 when the dude comes back from vacation he leaves monday and he will be gone for 10 days so, itll be a while. I haven't decided whether i want to wire them to A) 4 ohm on one channel pushing 1400 rms thats 700 watts a sub. or B) 2 ohm on two channels pushing about 1000 watts each.

@socomsnipa904 if i was the one installing it would lol, im going to wire everything up but put a toggle switch on the remote line to the 3000 watt amp until i get my cap and new alt. But in the mean time ill wire in the 6x8s and the old amp and post a vid/review for them.

@HoRsEHaY23 depends what kicker comps are they? dual 4 ohm? single 2 ohm? etc. If you can get the exact model such as C154 or C158 that would help.
