Most people say it's better than the original and it probably is.

Yes, I agree with you on this one. I also like Katie's version, but it (and nobody else's

rendition) doesn't compare to the Beatles' original. And I'm

not at all surprised that Paul McCartney likes Katie's

version, either. He always did seem to have a predilection

for young girl singers with beautiful voices. After all, he

was the one who brought Mary Hopkin to the Beatles' Apple

label, and produced her first album (and wrote songs for

her, too)!

Fantastic - Katie has a beautiful voice as always. Can't wait to see her live again. Very nice of her official site to link to YouTube performances of her work also - many artists try to have these removed, but she/her management recognize that fans will like her work more by seeing performances such as this.
