@2006kcl - the light is coming from a 5000K fluorescent tube light that is positioned on the other side of the crossbar, just underneath the overhead reflector that you can see. It is part of the MS20 photo studio kit. Thanks for your interest!
Noticed your background seemed a little yellow in the actual shots. Is that a function of WB in the point/shoot camera? I'd like to have the background more of a pure white than the photos you took. Thanks!
@jdalamo - I think that actually more a function of the video quality and conversion. The background is white and the color corrected lighting is 5000K so it should not yellow, but you are right that a correct white balance along with proper exposure will give you the white you are looking for.
@rafiqbd007 - your MS20 was shipped today and it usually takes about 6-10 business days to get to the UK. Because the lamp is 110V, I think you will need a voltage converter if your outlets are 220V. They should be relatively inexpensive at your local hardware store. Thanks!
It uses an 18 inch 15W "daylight" (5000K) fluorescent bulb. 5000K is color-corrected so the colors are true and not washed out or distorted like they would be with a regular fluorescent. The bulb is included with the complete studio kit and is rated for 7,500 hours so you won't need to replace it anytime soon.

The MS20 can be shipped to the UK, but the MS32 is to large to ship overseas.
