  • I just found this. thanks for posting it. I lived in that big ole white house in the early 70's and have lived away from there for all of that time since.  It made me feel pretty good to see it still there. lots of wonderful memories of summerville.

  • To my understanding, this is the rail bed for the Old SC Railroad. It is the oldest rail bed in the United States. The Best Friend of Charleston passed through on it's way from Charleston, SC to Hamburg, SC. Hamburg is now part of North Augusta.

  • @clockguy2 very soon ill be uplaoding some video from the best friend of charleston historical scocity they have the original time tables used and everything related to that locomotive they have original blueprints

  • I live on lincoln ville road in summer park listining to the train passing 5 times a day while a sound indicater detects the train and turns on my trian up in my room. cool stuff. oh and i live on the south side and before i go fishing with my dad we aet at the sweetwater cafe on the corner.
