  • Why not just use wget? This seems way more complicated and hard to use.

  • what is the difference between 'wget -m' and 'HTTrack'?

    both can mirror website

  • @LemonPieLoL I smell a troll

  • I don't really see the point in this because the really juicy parts will be server side scripts.

  • Hey Darren, real noob questing here, but could you do a linux command line tutorial? I'm totally new in linux.

    Love your show!

  • @WeteringsWebDevelop how about you RTFM? The linux command line is not difficult, just learn Bash, take a note of baseline Unix tools and learn how to use them. Unfortunately videos that hold you by the hand are junk food for the brain, the contain little sustenance , and are only really useful to start out; the only real way to learn something is to do it. Make a test lab or run a virtual machine and proceed to have forced hex with it.

  • I love HTTrack. Thanks guys.

  • Can I get a refresher. What does "!$" do again? It repeats the variable used in the last bash command?

  • someone please hack me!!!!! c-71-225-129-53.hsd1.nj.comcast.net

  • @MasterFon You are in the wrong place for that, these people couldn't hack their way out of a paper bag. Proxy through to a skid IRC channel and proceed to abuse them; that will yield more results.

  • Did anyone else check the website twitterphisr besides me?

  • i got a question WTF is up with metasploit?? i had BT4 r2 updated metasploit then metasploit was gone framework 3 did not exist error so i got BT5 r1 everything is good updated did a apt-get update as usual then went to armitage didnt work so i tryd to update metasploit and it was gone WTF!!!

  • @BLACKBINLATIN What is wrong with it? It removes the learning from hacking.

  • @LemonPieLoL

it seems i am not the only 1 with this problem. On the BT forums alot of people had the framework 3 directory disappear after the apt-get update the forum said its a bug i think its bullshit

  • @BLACKBINLATIN Linux is for fags.

  • @LemonPieLoL

what do you prefer windows LMAO

  • why not use wget -m ?

  • @stalingbg I think thata with this method, HTTrack provides a simple method to launch the website with a python webserver whereas wget -m won't provide that, also, the wizard is helpful.

  • this show needs moar views

  • wget?

  • S.E.T is better for things like this imo

  • We need more sed and fun little things like the "!$" bash feature which I had no idea existed up until now.

  • @Djhg2000 tbh, it's pointless.

  • @Djhg2000 then get some books nigga

  • @ocm4r how come the top comments always get agressive, contraversial or outright stupid replies?

  • @Djhg2000 books are the choice of the intelligent man or try this obsucre and widley unkown concept of internet search engine

  • @Djhg2000 Because some people feel so inferior that they have to act that way to feel like they have some superior edge on them. Like the old school yard trick of picking on smart kids. The not so smart children feel inferior so to feel better they pick on the superior children who end up owning them after High School anyways.

  • love hak5 but case mod challenge sucks ....

  • Is HTTrack similar to wget command in *nix?

  • @texttonic No, it is recursive and downloads the pictures and linked websites.

  • in 1st 100 team!!!

  • niz

  • 3:36 - End of ad

  • @FrozenBra1n 5:28 ******

  • hak5 awsome simple!

  • first?
