Its a very emotional experience for a lot of black people mainly because of the history of black people and the trauma their ancestors had to suffer. The race is not everything about this election but it is important. And Obama is one of the black men, who decided to make something of themselves. Because many black men, sad to say stay on the streets and just get in trouble. And so he made a statement and set a standard. So don't ever think the race car is not important, because it is.

Many blacks were beaten to death during slavery simply because they were born BLACK. They were taken from their homeland of Africa and brought to America and the Caribbean against their will to work and be totally unfairly treated by, the Europeans, who were white. And racism still lingered for years after that. So the "race card" is important.
