Yes these 2 flatheads was played with, being it my first 2 BIGST catfish===They was let go @ the terre haute/fair banks park boat ramp in front of DNR=Max Winchell & they was a live when CPR . ,

wow man you would have a blast where i go fishing.i fish right where a dide creek runs into the river. went out there yesterday and was limited in 2 hours! all bluecats. the smallest being 15.8 lbs and the largest being 48,2 lbs usint two 12,, ft breakaway rods. with ambassadeur big game reels. and the total weight of me and my buddys fish was just over 175lbs! so if you ever make it down this way look me up! id be more than happy to get ya hooked up!

Nice cats. Used to run gills and hoop nets. Banklines, jugs, and trotlines. I wish I could make a living doing that. And about people stealing them... I was runnin with my uncle once and he put a bullet in a guys boat that was runnning his lines. Can't do that these days but you sink enough boats and people stop stealing.

Well i do thake better care of the fish now,But the D.N.R was at the boat ramp when i brout the fish back to show my girl/kids ever one there and the D.N.R saw the fish swim a real good away, well a lot of ppl was there and even the D.N.R said he whould have eat them i said no way!

when you treat the fish right you dont have to worry about the release... when you drop it from 4' then you pretty much seal it's fate! i would have thought you would known this being #1 catfisherman

A deer can drip blood then heal its self back up by licking it and live on even with a bulet in it. I am the one that got the fish and the one that let them go i say they live on i ans D.N.R. saw it ! If the fish was not abeal to live on i think the D.N.R whould have said some thing thats why they made him a D.N.R RIGHT HE NOWES WHAT HES DOING

His comments are still up The guy from B.O.C said i need to thake better care of them and said yes i do and i do thake better care of fish now, hes even has a pic up on the B.O.C of his son with a BIG rope around a catfish gills and i ask him why, he said so the could get a pic of it.

I see the same D.N.R. guy next time i see him ill ask to do a video with the follow up as what happen that night All my license was clean ,but i did blow 0.8 for beer drinking then got to the jail and blowed 0.6

If you CPR your fish, why do you need a holding net? I catch picture worthy fish, I get them in, get them weighed and, released in less than 2 minutes. Why hold them and drag them to a whole other area to film them? Looks to me like you need to learn proper care of the fish you catch!!! Their health is more important to me than a stupid video any day!!! Go ahead and pull this response as well, just like the other one.

he was fishing with a buddy of mine in another boat about 6 miles up river from us that ight. They didn't have a camera so they put it on a stringer (the proper way) till I could get there with a camera ad then it was released. Total time from catch to release was 10 minutes.

Laughed when the flathead got ya. Little river rash on the hands hurts like hell. Good thing it wasn't a big blue.

The biggest one in my vid was 46lbs. We use 7ft Ugly Sticks (usually have between 6 and 8 in the water), 6500 Abu Garcias, P-line 30lb test and leaders, 9/0 Gamakatsu hooks, and creek bream/sunfish (not pond...creek bait just seems to work better)

Nice catfish. Im from south I vist that area 9 10 times a year to fish the Wabash. Do you fish with The Guy they call CATFISH GRUNER. I think hes a little up north from you in Clinton. Last Time I was Down thats all I heard about is this Catfish Gruner and these Massive Catfish that he hauls in Night after night. Well Good luck with Fish. Not bad, but here in the UK some cats reach 80lb or more, and in Europe well in excess of 100lbs. Although this style of fishing is not for me - I hope you put 'em back to grow some more to be caught at a later date?
