Admit it, I'm a Korean too and am a reserve, but an average American soldier has as much experience, if not more, than an average Korean soldier. Both forces are in the frontlines all the time. And frankly, whether N.Korea is right next to us or not does not matter too much. Both American and Korean soldiers, when conscripted to frontlines are far away from their comfy houses.
ps I do wish I could type Korean...frickin English OS...
Let’s not compare the elite forces of any nations. They are all specially trained and highly qualified professional soldiers who fight to maintain the world peace. If an MMA fighter is walking on a forest and it encounters a Korean special forces soldier, who do you think will will that fight? A real fight without globes or rules?
You have to be an idiot to assume ground and pound will defeat one of these guys.

Jesus guys. The misinformation here is astounding.
The 707th was a unit that was carried over by the ROK Army Special Warfare Command in the early 1980s as an anti-communist insurgency unit to a counter-terrorist and special missions unit after Seoul was selected as the host city for the 1988 Olympics.
Several western countries, but most predominately the US assisted S. Korea in providing an effective defensive infrastructure against any terrorist incident that could occur, a'la Munich 1972
With the help of the CIA, Delta Force was sent over to help train Koreans for their new unit and effectively modeled the 707 to be direct counterparts to them. They were there in cycles throughout the 80's, acknowledged by Eric Haney in his book "Inside Delta Force."
707 is the only unit in the SWC that utilized the same small-arms weapons that its international brethren use for cross-training purposes. And YES, they do cross train with SAS, Sayeret Makhal, GSG-9, and to this day with Delta.
This is no surprise that Americans had a vested interest in the creation of another friendly CT unit as the entire Korean military infrastructure has been almost exclusively modeled and influenced by the help of the US since the end of the Korean War. Regardless of some naysayers, Korean/US relations are some of the closest in the world.
This video doesn't show nearly enough what these guys can do, but specifically geared for their environment. They are not world police type units like the SAS or Delta. They are a home-brew CT unit who have more than enough on their plate in anticipating and of course dealing with their neighbors to the north.
@cslewis623 Actually, well known Delta Force operator Eric Haney mentioned very specifically in his book about providing very exhaustive and extensive CT training to S. Korea in the 80's specifically for the Olympics.
Did you also know S. Korea has near-identical ROK Marine Force Recon and Recon, Navy UDT/SEAL, ROK Army Ranger and Special Forces, etc, that have been carbon copied from their US counterparts? Heck, the Esprit de Corps between the ROKMC and USMC are identical except language.
all true. the south koreans modeled their military like the united states, more in favor with special forces as they witnessed American special forces in the war and their effectiveness, however north korea saw the power of numbers (china and russia) and adopted their military after them (NOT to say North Koreans aren't a force to reckon with)
@duntazemebrahxD Its not really about them "seeing" the United States military's effectiveness. The US has served as a patron country for South Korea since World War 2 and it was pretty natural for the SK to adopt American tactics since they had already gotten their weapons and training.
wow this is just embarrassing! that guy got KNOCKED THE HELL OUT holding those bricks! they looked like they had done some of those tricks for the first time looking at how many of em kept getting hurt!
these guys are very strong fast and talented but can they demonstrate these fine martial arts while wearing bodyarmor, hundreds of rounds of ammo, helmet while engaging multiple enemies while under fire. Hell I would want these guys on my side anytime... Semper Fi.
@sharpshooterfourty The martial arts is less about actually using them in an actual combat situation (although its possible) and more about maintaining that warrior spirituality and fitness.
they make way too much noise, in a real operation they need to be as silent and as professional as possible not this bruce lee monkey nonsense- besides that their training, and ability is extreemley formidable, i wouldn't fuck with these guys.
hey XIPM3 remember its just training, they dont make all that noise in combat. Plus making that sort of noise is kinda like a warcry, it gives you more aggression.

This unit is the strongest Korean special force 707 specific assignment battalion / In order to defend a terrorist suppression and the nation from these people whom endeavors about Huaihe / Congratulation !! 707 특수임무대대
oh...it isn't the other way around? Fairly certain it's vice versa. I mean when they initially started korean special forces, they were taught by SAS, delta force, hong kong SDU, singapore special forces, FBI HRT, etc.
Republic of Korea Army Special Warfare Command when they were created, their units weren't taught by SAS, Delta Force or etc.
Remember this 707 regiment personals are veterans, more than 5 years in service and they've gone through tough trainings and tests just to get in this regiment.
As a matter of fact, don't ever compare these guys to MMA fighters, simply because there are nothing to compare.. These guys are tuned to survive in any hostile situations,, They are "lean, mean killing machine". My respect goes out to this elite force.
You all have to understand that there's big difference between MMA and speciallly trained soldiers.. That means these guys are trained to kill. If you put MMA fighters in a real combat situations, I belive MMA guys will be shreded to pieces in matter of seconds..
@bullgom who the hell told u that ?who the hell do u think these soldiers are ?mma figthers are trained to fight andin hand to hand combat soldiers wouldnt stand a chance so stop believing in the myth that just because soldiers go to war they are better figthers.why dont u tell me at least one soldier that has beaten an mma figther,u will find none
@theAntilli Yes, but remember that they train for speed and power a lot, as well as stamina. they can kill u with jui-jitsu. man im not defending MMA figther at all, but but soldiers will definitely be beaten to death by a figther, they are just not trained for it. they are trained for war. Special forces like navy seals are not strong, they just have great endurance. that bullgom is just a failed wannabe
@yandykun Good point. Look at Eddie Stone or John Mac, they are the opposite of a Hollywood hero. But endurance isnt everything. after all, the possess enormous strength opposed to their bodyweight,
Never the less, MMA is a competitive sport. you still have certain boundaries, and you are limited to your ring/ cage. which is something Krav Maga (or other military self defence) doesnt have. Plus theres the use of weapons, but which in this instant is irrelevant.
@yandykun Spec ops are the second hardest trained in the military. They deal with hard situations that the ordinary army and navy along with marines couldn't even think of dealing with. They are also trained to destroy and rip the enemy up in just a matter of seconds.
@cslewis623 "THEY ARE ALSO TRAINED TO DESTROY AND RIP THE ENEMY UP IN JUST A MATTER OF SECONDS" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. holy shit man. u really have a twisted mind. these guys are not superhumans so stop seeing so many movies.what is a militant to u ?for me, a soldier or marine, etc. is trained for war, not for fighting. they especialize in tactics and practice shooting a lot. i know a scout sniper, he was in the marine corps for 4 years. in other words, all u said was meaningless. lol RIP ENEMY UP..
@yandykun who said that i was saying something from a movie? i was just merely giving credit to the spec ops for the ability to rip up enemy fortifications in less than their primary objective. and yes, they are trained for war. but, in war, don't you get ripped up? think you bitch. think. what type of a motherfucking retard are you.
@cslewis623 lol take it easy man.u said that they could rip the enemy up, not RIP ENEMY FORTIFICATIONS UP. spec ops have a lot of endurance, but that is all pal. they are weak when it comes to strength. in fact, working out for endurance for a long time can kill your strength. these guys are not superhumans dumbass.
@yandykun ok, so if all you have is just endurance, and no strength, you know what you get? you get no strenght and no flippin endurance. strength is endurance. just so you know you retard.
@yandykun ok, so if all you have is just endurance, and no strength, you know what you get? you get no strenght and no flippin endurance. strength is endurance. just so you know you retard. and next, once you rip the enemy fortifications, you rip the enemy up. i read idiot. my father was in the military too you know. so shut up. as much as you know, he took down an american soldier in just less than five seconds. no contest. south koreans are better trained.
@cslewis623 now now. u must think im american, well im not. when did this argument jump to S.K. vs U.S. ? u are the retard. Strength is endurance ?your stupidity is very laughable man. grow the fuck up and stop believing the the myth Special Forces are superhumans.
@yandykun Actually, since the North and South are so close and share a border, they are highly trained in hand to hand combat, and yes, the point is to kill fats and efficiently. One of these men can kill anyone very fast.
@bullgom Dude I dont know who you are. But you are the first person I read on here that makes sense, what you said if right.. MMA is a sport made to fight in a ring.. speical forces would wipe them easy because they are trained to kill not only knock out or submission, tap out.. etc.. mma would give up but they would be dead so they cant tap out.. lololololol finally somebody with sense.. Nice to read stuff that is correct
AHAHA wow that comment is laughable. Who the fuck do you think the US and a crap load of other countries gets their training from? that's right, ISRAEL and the British! One of the LEADING counter terrorists in the world and you're going to say "fuck" them? Wow, I mean how uninformed do you have to be buddy?
yes what you say is true, but you are COMPLETE IGNORING the fact that the isralis have revolutionized counter terrorism techniques. These guys pretty much kill terrorist leaders every week, they have the MOSSAD, who are probably MUCH more dangerous than the MI6 or CIA.There's a reason why they are considered the best trained military in the world. They beat 6 hostile countries at the same time.Yes they have technology from US, but who was the one who employes them well?THEY ARE NOT AMATEURS!
huhmasta- as good as Israelis are, they are trained by Americans and English and they are not the best in the world. Israel's special forces are all modeled after American or English ones, and trained by the originals.
@cslewis623 Ha! you're a fucking idiot and clearly no idea what the hell you're talking about! Ha! that's funny. Go read a book and stop being so stupid
@Huhmasta ha, the new generation of spec ops got beaten by ordinary civilians. i found pics of them. and a vid. now if i can just remeber. and dude, i have the evidence.im not one of those idiots who just walk into a conversation without proper evidence.
@cslewis623 sure you do..... because pics and vids on the INTERNET are such RELIABLE sources of information that can automatically say that a country's military force is just SO WEAK. Give me a break dude. Israeli special forces are among the toughest in this fucking world, stop being so ignorant....
I agree. You don't pop the corners, there's a likely chance a man's been hit. You have a whole team going in there with no corner sweeps, you all get shot in the fucking back.
well i find both those options acceptable as being specialized in one thing is also good. If you do MMA ur most likely to be proficient but not advanced in ur hth fighting.
This is Tukkong Mu Sool English Special forces Martial Art!
It is like MMA or Hybride style that combineds
elements from Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Wrestling, Judo, Karate, Boxing, and other Combate sports MMA! And is evoling and crosstraing in other mma arts combate sports, and orther military arts!

@theAntilli Yes, but remember that they train for speed and power a lot, as well as stamina. they can kill u with jui-jitsu. man im not defending MMA figther at all, but but soldiers will definitely be beaten to death by a figther, they are just not trained for it. they are trained for war. Special forces like navy seals are not strong, they just have great endurance. that bullgom is just a failed wannabe
yandykun 1 year ago
@yandykun Good point. Look at Eddie Stone or John Mac, they are the opposite of a Hollywood hero. But endurance isnt everything. after all, the possess enormous strength opposed to their bodyweight,
Never the less, MMA is a competitive sport. you still have certain boundaries, and you are limited to your ring/ cage. which is something Krav Maga (or other military self defence) doesnt have. Plus theres the use of weapons, but which in this instant is irrelevant.
theAntilli 1 year ago
@yandykun Spec ops are the second hardest trained in the military. They deal with hard situations that the ordinary army and navy along with marines couldn't even think of dealing with. They are also trained to destroy and rip the enemy up in just a matter of seconds.
cslewis623 1 year ago
@cslewis623 "THEY ARE ALSO TRAINED TO DESTROY AND RIP THE ENEMY UP IN JUST A MATTER OF SECONDS" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. holy shit man. u really have a twisted mind. these guys are not superhumans so stop seeing so many movies.what is a militant to u ?for me, a soldier or marine, etc. is trained for war, not for fighting. they especialize in tactics and practice shooting a lot. i know a scout sniper, he was in the marine corps for 4 years. in other words, all u said was meaningless. lol RIP ENEMY UP..
yandykun 1 year ago
@yandykun who said that i was saying something from a movie? i was just merely giving credit to the spec ops for the ability to rip up enemy fortifications in less than their primary objective. and yes, they are trained for war. but, in war, don't you get ripped up? think you bitch. think. what type of a motherfucking retard are you.
cslewis623 1 year ago
@cslewis623 lol take it easy man.u said that they could rip the enemy up, not RIP ENEMY FORTIFICATIONS UP. spec ops have a lot of endurance, but that is all pal. they are weak when it comes to strength. in fact, working out for endurance for a long time can kill your strength. these guys are not superhumans dumbass.
yandykun 1 year ago
@yandykun ok, so if all you have is just endurance, and no strength, you know what you get? you get no strenght and no flippin endurance. strength is endurance. just so you know you retard.
cslewis623 1 year ago
@yandykun ok, so if all you have is just endurance, and no strength, you know what you get? you get no strenght and no flippin endurance. strength is endurance. just so you know you retard. and next, once you rip the enemy fortifications, you rip the enemy up. i read idiot. my father was in the military too you know. so shut up. as much as you know, he took down an american soldier in just less than five seconds. no contest. south koreans are better trained.
cslewis623 1 year ago
@cslewis623 now now. u must think im american, well im not. when did this argument jump to S.K. vs U.S. ? u are the retard. Strength is endurance ?your stupidity is very laughable man. grow the fuck up and stop believing the the myth Special Forces are superhumans.
yandykun 1 year ago
@yandykun Actually, since the North and South are so close and share a border, they are highly trained in hand to hand combat, and yes, the point is to kill fats and efficiently. One of these men can kill anyone very fast.
aguada21 1 year ago
@bullgom Dude I dont know who you are. But you are the first person I read on here that makes sense, what you said if right.. MMA is a sport made to fight in a ring.. speical forces would wipe them easy because they are trained to kill not only knock out or submission, tap out.. etc.. mma would give up but they would be dead so they cant tap out.. lololololol finally somebody with sense.. Nice to read stuff that is correct

Very different from Taekwondo right?1^^
KoreanPolice1 2 years ago
the same, except more deadly. Taekwondo is the training of defence, as this is for pure killing

fuck israel. they are amateurs compared to Russia, USA and British SF
XIPM3 2 years ago
AHAHA wow that comment is laughable. Who the fuck do you think the US and a crap load of other countries gets their training from? that's right, ISRAEL and the British! One of the LEADING counter terrorists in the world and you're going to say "fuck" them? Wow, I mean how uninformed do you have to be buddy?

XIPM3 2 years ago
yes what you say is true, but you are COMPLETE IGNORING the fact that the isralis have revolutionized counter terrorism techniques.
Huhmasta 2 years ago
no arguement here.
XIPM3 2 years ago
And the Russian Special Forces are not on par with 22 SAS or Delta. I mean, just look at the theater fiasco. they killed half the hostages.
tewkewl 2 years ago
indeed- what Russians lack in hostage rescue skills they more then make up for it in sheer brutality and formidability.
XIPM3 2 years ago
huhmasta- as good as Israelis are, they are trained by Americans and English and they are not the best in the world. Israel's special forces are all modeled after American or English ones, and trained by the originals.
XIPM3 2 years ago
@XIPM3 The true strength of the Israelis relies on their incredible leaders and generals. Ever wonder why it was only a Six Day war?

@Huhmasta ha! the spec ops got beaten by ordinary civilians. ha! that's funny.
cslewis623 1 year ago
@cslewis623 Ha! you're a fucking idiot and clearly no idea what the hell you're talking about! Ha! that's funny. Go read a book and stop being so stupid
Huhmasta 1 year ago
@Huhmasta ha, the new generation of spec ops got beaten by ordinary civilians. i found pics of them. and a vid. now if i can just remeber. and dude, i have the evidence.im not one of those idiots who just walk into a conversation without proper evidence.
cslewis623 1 year ago
@cslewis623 sure you do..... because pics and vids on the INTERNET are such RELIABLE sources of information that can automatically say that a country's military force is just SO WEAK. Give me a break dude. Israeli special forces are among the toughest in this fucking world, stop being so ignorant....

Their CQB sucks, muzzling each other and not popping the corners on entry. Muzzle awareness gents !
barrackisastupidnig 3 years ago
I agree. You don't pop the corners, there's a likely chance a man's been hit. You have a whole team going in there with no corner sweeps, you all get shot in the fucking back.

Mmh. Koreans are known for their PT/Drilling skills, but fall a little short in CQB.

they should train in a variety of skills (MMA)not just Tae Kwon Do.
nehepyunji 3 years ago
well i find both those options acceptable as being specialized in one thing is also good. If you do MMA ur most likely to be proficient but not advanced in ur hth fighting.
Vaccinesse 3 years ago 3
Sorry but This is not Tae Kwon Do!
