@tevest You have to use DOSBox, a DOS emulator. There is a tutorial on how to make it work at wiki. stunts. hu /index. php /DOSBox (P.S.: how I hate having to fool the spamchecker with whitespace...)
Literally half the fun of the game was exploiting the awesome bugs! I especially loved the effects I could get from using the "maximum speed overdrive" bug and then driving up a loop. I'd shoot up so high that the game engine would quit rendering the ground textures...
@ThrilloVanHouten That's what I'm thinkin'! Used to be able to take that Indy Car and send it practically to the moon...and then land and keep driving! :D Good times, man. Good times.
With the indy car I was flying always back in the good old days. I build a track with a bridge near the fence ( end of the level ), start steering and the game did the rest. Funny how I could spend hours to fly as long as possible, in a race game!
there was that other bug that when you hit a wall right after falling from a ramp the car went 100000 miles up and in flames. the track got really small from inside car view
IMO the best "successor in spirit" to Stunts is Trackmania - it's somewhat of a different beast but really fun anyway. What's best, they have a fully-functional freeware edition called "Trackmania Nations Forever". And BTW, if you still play Stunts you may enjoy paying a visit to the community sites linked from the portal at stunts. hu ... ;)
On Trackmania: yes, you can build tracks and do quite a lot of crazy stuff, even with the free edition. And yes, the Stunts community does kick ass :D ;)
There was a open-source remake I tried out, but it was poorly designed, probably for a few reasons I can think of right now.
I honestly recommend downloading Podracer aka "Star Wars Episode I Racer" and playing that. Finishing the game won't be , but that's just the first step. Now you race for time.
I suggest you Google three things: Wouter Jansen, Speeddemosarchive, and CyberScore.
You can probably also play multi-player via IPX over Hamachi.
Weak. I give you a hint: Try driving trough the start/end *backwards*. If you do it just right, and SLOWLY(!!!), you will start to accelerate in a corkscrew up in the air until you can see the whole map :D
Thanks for the compliments, but it wasn't a big Stunts... I finished only 3rd with this replay in the monthly race behind Bonzai Joe (Denmark) and Ayrton (Argentina). ;)
hahahaha good one thank you. I remember this game had a lot of bugs like this one, accelerating the car to a thousand times the maximum speed was another one, using the jumping bridges with maximum speed gives hiper jumps too, using the loop to access to a bridge next to it, etc. Hahaha thanks for this funny bugs :)
Okay that is truly, truly amazing!! And LOVE the Airwolf music!!!

This is PC speaker too :) By the way you can use DOSBox and with that, Soundblaster option also works (even under XP/Vista).

O my f****n god!!! What the f**k?!!!
This is surely the best driving I've ever seen in Stunts! I just can't believe what I've just saw right now. You're amazing... No words..........
By the way, the trick is very cool. The best is when you make circles in the air after you hit something with the maximum speed.
Greetings!

Easily... Playing in DOS-Box (MS-DOS emulator for Windows) - it has a video capturing option.

Wow, how you managed to record a DOS game?
