In Handball the most importent is sence of style , it does not matter how you defend ,how you trow as long as you stop offence and score, I was trying to play like other players all my life and at 30 y old I got to the point that game slowed down for me . I stuck to my style and it was the best for me , you can not copy players who are 2 11 tall when you 183 .
my interest and love for handball are extraordinarily but l want to handball workshop, because my palm was very small,i could not handle the ball firm, and as such disappointed.Gradually, my interest is going down.
Regarding your pain; that could be everything from a misalignment in your spine, shoulder or the elbow itself. You might also have a short Chest Muscle (very common) resulting in pain in the shoulder or elbow. Here are some questions; do you stretch your upper body? Do you develop your hip, back, forearm muscles? And if so, then how? Are you using your upper body only when you throw or the complete body (not likely)? Send me an email to discuss this; ingolfursnorra@gmail.com, lets see ;-)
I have a little bit of a question here. It's in regards of the throwing manner most handball players use. I've been playing handball for sometime already and somehow the power in my shots hasn't improved. Frankly speaking, I think im throwing the ball wrongly and as the day passes my arm hurts especially in the elbow region. I did my fare share of reading up online and they said something about not bending over the knee and hip ? whats that about ?
I really like that you focus on individual skills and foot work. If you watched the semi-final and the the final where THW Kiel was part of, most of what they did was individual skills and put it into team-work. I don't remember that they used a lot of tactic compared to the other teams.
True that my friend. The game is put together with team-work AND individual skills. Often the team work is taken over the personal skills. A good player needs to have both.
I agree on that with many of them, good point. It´s the first time they spend some time with the movement. People often go so wide because they don´t have the correct posture to turn to a full degree and go through. There are some degrees missing, resulting in a circle that turns too much to the side, the movement must go through the feet and turn in the hips.
most of them make the spin at the end very wide. If you do that in a real match you will walk against the next defender. Isn't it better to put your pivot foot close to your opponent and turn around that. From that point you will try to go behind the player you just past. If the defender next to him is going to you, your able to play it to the team mate next to you and he can walk right trough defends. Same with a lot of the moves. Keep up the good work!

I agree, in the netherlands the team tactics are way way above the individual skills.
the result is that its getting harder to make goals. We miss " crowbars" in the attack.
Thx for the tips!!
Where can i get the complete dvd?

I might be wrong though.

Very good comment, thanks a lot.

To be more accurate I shouldn't say never but it is rarely used.

I agree.
It is a move that is rarely used against a defense set up but it´s a great way to widen the horizon in regards to body control and variety.

Most likely this move never used in organized defense. You might use it in running fastbreak when your opponent is so close to you while you running
