  • How often would this be used? It is expensive but if it works I'm on it! I love your blog.

  • @mysticrottie -I've used it a total of 3 times now. I'm still in love. My hair is so much more forgiving when I manipulate or try to work out stubborn tangles. I don't worry about breakage the same way I used to before. This product is a definite keeper for me.

  • @mysticrottie -I've used it every wash so far, now I've run out. I'm now moving up to the 16 oz bottle that sells for $215.00 on Amazon. The total cost is expensive but the per ounce cost is now under $13.50. I think I paid around $30.00 for the 1 oz size.

I don't know if I need to use it weekly but, since I'm stretching, I don't want to manipulate the hair during the rollerset without it.

  • I think I'm going to try this product out. I can definitely use more elasticity. Thanks for the review! BTW, what are the ingredients?

  • @honeychild713 -Distilled H20,Keratin Protein Complex Extract, Guar Gum, Cyclodimethicone, Dimethicone, Arnica, color, scent.

  • Sounds like an awesome product! Where can I find you typical regime? I have been texlaxing very "loosely" and my mom wants me to relax it more all the way to be like your hair. I'm terrified of breakage!!! I'd like some advice. (Yes, I do protein treatment, moisture treatment, nothing works on my relaxed hair, especialy if I flat iron).

  • @quitejaded -I relax every 3-4 months. I'm this video, I'm 2 months post. I actually still have a bit of texture close to my roots. I used a flat iron (lower heat) and steam curlers to encourage straighter hair. I don't recommend you relax too straight. Otherwise, you'll definitely be dealing with breakage. I do have a regimen video posted but you can find more updated info by visiting my blog relaxedhairhealth.blogspot.com

Contact me if you have more questions!

  • @fabohair Thankyou! Yes, I have another question. So, yes, I have noticed if I use heat on my roots only or newly texlaxed hair, the hair does not break. However, I am afraid that if I use heat a lot, they will soon become weak. I find I need to use heat again every other day. Is that a safe method? I'm just trying to figure out a way to get my mom off my back (she wants me hair to be straight) but still have healthy hair. What are steam rollers?

  • @quitejaded -You can try other methods to get textured hair straighter. Try to do a search for the "scarf method." When I dry my hair in a ponytail and tie a scarf around the new growth, my hair is much easier to handle. You will also need to use less heat to get the hair straight. Steam rollers are curlers that are placed on a steamer to help create curls without the heat of a flat iron. There a lots of great vids you can check out. Do a search for Caruso Steam Rollers.
