I'm a hot shot and we never forget our lost. Every one of us ( smokejumpers, hotshots, helitack, ect.) we are all brothers/sisters out there on fires.

I've lived in Helena for the last nine years, I heard this story when I first toured Gates of the Mountains when I was fifteen- and I've never forgotten it. Fires are a thing of life in Montana, even if they take some of it away too.
