There's no way NBC would've ever let another network use this theme, for any amount of money. First of all, it's instantly identifiable with their network. But even more importantly, I'm sure that under the right circumstances we might one day see the NBA on NBC again, and if that ever happens, I'm sure they would bring it back for old time's sake.

Kobe is a good player. He just needs his teammates to step up. It kind of resembles Jordan's struggle in the 80's when he was the one taking all the shots. They never made it to the finals until the other players got involved.
