I wish I would have bought Level 42's albums in the 80s. I had heard this song on the radio when I was in college in 1986, but I really didn't know anything about Level 42. That's why 80's music is so popular into the 21st century, I still love 80's music because I was a teenager back then and this music brings back so many great memories of great times. I still can't get enough of that 80's music. I like all kinds of music; but the 80's ROCKED, great music for one hell of a decade :).
@MissDonovan71 You're so right regarding 80's music, something about it. I also remember thinking of this group in particular when reaching Level 42 in certain 80's video games, e.g., Tempest and Gauntlet.
ok....has it ever made anyone wonder how come when singers that have heavy accents can be very hard to understand but when they sing its like WTH!!!! i can understand their singing...IDK its just something i was thinking about.
@wesleyjc80 maybe it's because they are forced to enunciate more when they sing, plus most people have heard music sang in English or by US folks so they prob. are able to adapt to singing like that better
check out the spanish band "danza invisible" and their song "sin aliento", same era and kind of music, remember music is universal I'm pretty sure you will like it regardless of the language.
