What the fuck was the point in this? they could have atleast re-do scenes with megatron's transformation to make him a tank if they wer going to do this they have just re-shot G1 with everything the same is say fuck G2 beast wars si where its at.

I see, so only Megatron's G2 toy was a tank. Cus the reason i was wondering is because I ran into a tank megatron said to be from G2. It was a normal tank & not an H-tank like armada megs. I guees the reason being they were not allowed to make a gun megatron.

he's that tank in the GI Joe vs transformers comic books(at some point) and he's also that in the Generation 2 comics which aren't related to this in anyway. This was just a redone Generation 1 with new transition effects and other shit like that. It's kinda stupid really >.>

the G2 cartoon wan't that bad i saw episode 16 "Heavy Metal War" on G2 (couldn't find a tape of it but had seen preview on other tapes those years ago in '89-91) during a snowday in '93 (1st grader then). But the CG stuff is kinda crappy but it was still a few years from Beast Era quality so give it some credit (4th to 7grader then/by thetiem RID came i was a highschooler/don't laugh i love this stuff dearly). But had to make that known folks.

that is exactly the reason plus to sell teh G2 Megatron in the Marvel G2 comics line (Hasbro the toy company has a thing its called "to sell toys) . Anyway i had to point that detail out.

@seibertronsei there's also megastorm, from beast wars second (japanese exclusive). he wasn't the series' equivalent, but his toy was a repaint of g2 megatron.

The G2 cartoon was just recaps, but the G2 comics were original stories and did feature G2 toys like the green tank Megatron (who was rebuilt from G1 Megatron by COBRA - his rail cannon was designed by COBRA scientist Dr. Sidney Biggles-Jones (whom Megatron later had her brain removed... mmm... a shame, she was a hottie ;)))
