For those who are wondering why uh "Ralphie" is drinking Hershey chocolate milk instead of Ovaltine as seen in the movie, Peter Billingsley who played "Ralphie" actually played another character by the name of "Messy Marvin" as seen here who promoted Hershey chocolate milk not Ovaltine because Ralphie was a different character in "A Christmas Story."He made these commercials before the movie was made.They were just a fun series of commercials to watch as a kid.
