  • I'm in LA but I'm Pgh girl born and raised. What I miss about the Mon the most, is the bike trail. The incline is awesome. Horray Mt Woo!

  • The closer you get to Pittsburgh proper, it's pronounced Mah-Nong-Ah-Hay-La... like 'sidneneycrosbylvr' said.

    Further down the Mon Valley, it's pronounced Mah-Nonga-Hell-La or ... or Hail-La.

    In Very southern SW-PA and West Virginia, it's pronounced Mah-Nong-Ah-Hee-La.
