  • I wont call my products hand made, unless they are hand made from scratch. Also, it is hard to find melt and pour bases that do not include some level of preservative, sulfates or glycols.

I do hope youat least use a melt and pour base that is free from these ingredients. :-)

  • @TheCougarKitten

The base I use is great ingredients and the process that I do is all by hand with a full line of great all natural and organic ingredients that I add.

  • @HandmadeSoaps I still wouldnt call it hand made though...handcrafted maybe. Personally it doesnt make a difference, but I do admit - when searching for information on handmade soaps, I do expect that it would show handmade soaps, rather than 'adapted ' ones :-)

Also, you dont state the ingredients of your base, nor the manufacturers methods, which may have an impact, such as those with particular serious allergies.

Hope this feedback helps for the future :-)

  • @TheCougarKitten

the ingredients are listed on my soaps and my website, as are all the ingredients. I deal with quite a few people with allergies. I have had great results with helping people with their skin issues with my products. I hope you will give them a try sometime so that your opinion can be a hands on one. I made this product for my son, not money! I have worked with natural and organic products for 14 years and chose carefully the ingredients I work with. Please try it! Thanks

  • I have been using soapnuts for washing my clothes and I love natural soaps. I really like the different kinds of soaps that are made.

  • I see your soaps are melt and pour based which means they are not fully handmade

  • @peppermint6666

    not the first stage

  • I see that you use a vegetable glycerin as a base. What is the vegetable that your glycerin is derived from?

  • Cellulite? That's a horrible name. Reminds me of all the flesh eating diseases that spread through out the Parris Island USMC Boot Camp.

  • @Dark0Malkavian

    I didn't name it that.

  • They look soooo yummy!!!! I'm in Singapore though

  • They look gorgeous!!

  • Hmm, I very much like milk soaps. .... once there was a soap made from Buttermilk, but it is no longer available here.

  • @BeaverCreekHome

I hope you will try mine.

  • @HandmadeSoaps Thank you, I will have a closer look at them ... I find it fascinating, being able to make your own soap ...

  • @BeaverCreekHome

    That is how it starts!!

  • i have really really dry skin !! which one would be the best for me ?

  • @cherd1971

The Neem it (with Lavender), The Goat in the Patchouli Patch, Lime in the Coconut, Bergamot and Lime, Lavender Love. These would be my first recommendations. Then try the Body Goo and the cremes, The Dream creme.

  • That is very cool. I love the variety of your product. The labeling looks nice too.

  • @CatspitProductions

Thank you! One day I want T shirts with the logo and a slogan.

  • I love these , Lime in the coconut , I take it your aware of the song = ) ... maybe we should get these over to new zealand , they would be loved .

  • @kablam75

I listen to music when I work! Love that song. I would love it if New Zealand could experience my products.

  • @kablam75 There are manufacturers I know of in new zealand who hand make from scratch soaps, including coconut lime bars. They do too here in Oz as well :-)

  • Lovely!!!!!!!!!!!:)

  • Hi, I'm curious is your soaps lye soaps or glycerin?

  • The beginning process for all soap is lye. Glycerin is a by-product of the saponification process of the lye and water and the oils.

  • @Luckygreencarebear

both! Lye is in the first phase of soapmaking, glycerin is a by-product of soapmaking.

  • Man, you had Lavender and Tea tree soap!!! I was looking for this in your site. Oh well...

  • I do have a Lavender Tea Tree. If you want it added to this order, just run it thru the paypal and I will add it to the box. I am also sending some free samples with this order. Let me know because your order will go out tomorrow. Thanks

  • Comment removed

  • Ok, I just add $9,00 for tea tree soap...please add to my list. Thanks.

  • If I'm not mistaken, from her previous videos she makes all her soaps from Melt and Pour Soap Base.. then adds her own spins to it. When using M & P you don't have to worry about dealing with lye. You get the Soap Base pre made. There are several varieties of Melt and Pour bases

  • do you give out your base recipes???

  • No, I don't.

  • from one soap maker to another good job its great what you do lessie im guessing its bigger in the us here in Scotland ppl are kinda weary but there are coming round slowy lol, but to anyone using lye in soap be careful it can burn you big time and always add water to lye not lye to water

  • @iselldreams never add water to lye always start with water then add lye.

  • I was hoping to find the Sell-You Light bar on the website, but I can't find it :( Has it been discontinued or gone under a different name??

  • they look great!

  • thanks for the video

  • I hope you don't mind me so, but I would have like to see a demonstration of the soap in action!

  • how does it lather?

  • Great lather! Just loves you up!

  • what a nice name, lovely bars of soap and such a loving husband you have! You make your goats milk soaps without turning the bars dark! Very well done. Is that because of when you add the milk to the lye mixture?

  • I add the goatsmilk after the lye and oil saponification. Thanks for the nice comments!

  • Just curious as to what does the actual cleansing. thanks good vids

  • Great video and best of luck to you. Your in good hands with Rob. Your soaps look great and I bet they smell even better, love the names too. Very interesting love your page song:)

  • Thank you! We all need support from others to make good things happen.

Best of luck to you in 2009!
