I like this album better than the other 2 albums done with chris because i believe his vocals on this album keep up with the rest of the band and enhance the sound. on butchered at birth and tomb of the mutilated its sounds like indistinguishable, slow, grrrrrrr. and he isnt even in sync with the rest of the band on his vocals on tomb of the mutilated.

@AnthonyN77 Hmmm, i'm not sure about it. A crap setup can't make you play that bad, i think is all Paul's fault. Even in studio recordings you can tell his lack of technique. Paul is just as good/bad as Lars Ulrich.

My band played a show in like september or something. I was told that the drumkit at this place was ok, so I skipped bringing the drumkit from the rehearsal place.

Man, that kit just sucked and I think I played pretty bad at that show.

Paul is nailing songs to a click track on the first attemt. He invented a new kind of blast beat that most drummers cannot play. You're full of BS.

He invented a blast beat where he plays doublepedal as fast as Dave Lombardo, and adding blastbeats on the snare to it while he at the same time plays the same beats on the hi-hat. If you know anything about drumming, you'd know that this combination is fucking brutal hard. Many recognized drummers says that they cannot play this kind of blast beat. And he invented it. And a bad drummer doesn't record drums to a click track on the first attemt.

@iamrubens Then, there are of course better drummers than Paul. If you wanna find a sick drummer, look at the jazzgenre.

If the bass pedals are laggy, that will affect your drumming performance. There are so many factors that will affect the drumming and just one of them can be a pain in the ass. Go ask Lombardo or any drummer what they think about laggy bass pedals and if that will affect their performance.
