Actually, I'd like to propose another edit, because often times I have mezzed raiders, TC mercs, and Enclave soldiers from the front in VATS while they were attacking, and they have, more often than not, been dazed and confused for me to enslave. Maybe it's just me getting lucky while I was making it difficult for myself.

@rockerhead247 For me personally, I have always mezzed them without VATS, because it saves ammo due to the chance of missing in VATS. It's not impossible to mezz someone while attacking, but it becomes very unlikely. You are indeed a lucky person. XD

Mesmetron power cells aren't expensive if you think about it.

Once you complete 'Strictly Business' you can enslave absolutely anyone and receive 250 caps for doing so. It costs 200 caps for 10 Mesmetron power cells. Using 10 Mesmetron power cells you can enslave 10 people. 10 x 250, you do the math. It's the best money making technique in the game, although it only lasts a little while because there is a limited amount of people in the game. (Excluding raiders)

@mechaspark1 Another description edit is on the way. There is a list of NPC's that can NEVER be mezzed. In this case, they will have an increased chance of going berserk. The head exploding effect can still happen.

The only thing is that you will be attacked in Paradise Falls, you cannot buy Mesmetron ammo, you can't get it from him if you kill him straight away and you will fail the "Strictly Business" quest.

@Biel3G Mezzing people does not result in a karma loss. Enslaving ANYONE and killing good people with the head exploding effect will result in a karma loss. Not everyone can be enslaved or mezzed, but the raiders and talon mercs can be mezzed. I'll put it in the description.

@victoramantee The mesmetron can sometimes cause enemies to become berserk and attack the closest thing to them. Because they go berserk and not just hostile, other characters see them as a threat and attack them.

Dunno if any one has said this before but I'm too lazy to check the spontaneous head explosions and NPCs attacking you after shooting them isn't a glitch its a side effect. I don't know whats the percentage of it happening though.

@Yarrbetchyarr Do you mean in order to make lots of money enslaving people? If so, then a high Sneak, Lockpick and Science skill would be most useful to move around and enter areas easily. Energy weapons and Speech would be next just in case although they aren't really needed. If you are wanting to do something else, you can't be a proper slaver because they run straight to Paradise Falls and get placed in the slave pens.

1. If you successfully subdue someone, dont put away ur mezzer, they will just wake up.

2. Sometime the mezzer will cause rapid muscular spasms in their brain and make their head asplode!

3. If you mezz someone and they become hostile, sometime other people wont know you attacked them so they gang up on the mezzed guy.

4. You can mezz anyone!!!!! its all about luck! save b4 u mezz someone, then keep trying to zap them, if u fail, reload and try again until u get em.

This is all in the description, but 4 is wrong. You cannot stun some NPC's and they are more likely to go berserk when you hit them.

You can't buy items back if you sell them (unless they happen to be for sale in the shop you sell it to). Have a read at the description and if you're desperate for mezzer action, use the console command to get a brand new one.

Strange, Moria let me keep it. I suppose it's how you handle the dialogue after you do each part of the Survival Guide (I think you have many options to choose). If you're desperate for it, you can always use the console and cheat for it. (I don't know the code though.)

Nope, any part of his body will do, but if you shoot raiders while they attack you, you will not stun them most of the time. Be stealthy!
